Boat Motor 68N-81940-00 68V-8194A-00 Starter Solenoid/Relay Assy for Yamaha Outboard Engine FX1000 GP1300 GP800 SJ700 XL700 XLT1200 XLT800

Just finished install and engine now starts every time like a charm instead of 'click click click'. I had to replace the smaller bullet connector as shipped with a 4mm from the local auto parts store. Perfect fit. The only tool I needed was a 10mm socket with extender so I'm going to buy and re-bullet an extra (just in case) to keep on the boat and make sure I have a 10mm socket wrench for in-water repair. I use my boat in the San Juan Islands of Washington so a non starting motor is a Bad Thing.

This relay was easy to install and it has continued to work this boating season.

Fit my T50TRL Perfectly, it comes with a rubber cover that slides off and it is identical to the original. The leads are not the same length, I cut them and spiced to the old wires a good idea since the lug holding the ground wire down is hard to get too.

Removed original Yamaha starter relay and installed this replacement. The replacement had the brown and black wire reversed. I do not know if it matters but I was able to adjust connections as the original. Engine F115 Yamaha 4stroke cranked right up. Time will tell or durability/reliability.

Was not a direct replacement... wrong size male bullet connecter.. also had silicone peeling away along with wiring insulation...Poor quality imo...

Replacement for failed starter relay/solenoid. Not OEM, but works just fine at about 1/3 the price. (and the local dealer couldn't get a part for weeks at about 5x the cost or more). Pretty happy with this - just hope it holds up (and no reason to suspect it won't).

Wires are 2 inches shorter than original.
