Petals of the Moon: A Poetry Collection

Esta es una de las colecciones de poemas con un enfoque hacia la noche, la luna y las emociones que se pueden ocultar entremedio. Tiene toques de melancolía y prosa libre en la mayoría de los casos, pero no todos alcanzan el mismo nivel formal ni estético, sin embargo, considero que vale la pena leerlo.

CC is an absolutely magical writer, can’t say enough good things about her books .... Being a writer myself, I look for certain things in the current trend of IG poetry .... and this is a gorgeous book! Beautifully formatted book with gorgeous cover, beautifully composed writing, just an all around good book. I also have Wildflower Tea and I love both that book and Petals of the Moon.

I absolutely ADORE all of Cheryl's books. But I am especially fond of this book, since I my soul is also entangled in the moon. Love this book so much and I will always recommend anything from this lovely author.

There is something wintery and gorgeous about the poetry in this stunning collection. Never have I read darkness written with such light.

This book is full of raw emotion and wonderful imagery. The longer pieces are where I feel the authors voice really shines through. Like her other works, I have enjoyed reading it and will picking it up again soon for a reread. I can’t get enough by this author. She’s always a delight to read.
