I have that "suck the air out"-thingy... and I swear it works. No freezer burn, practical and easy to clean. For a busy household... thumps up.

I had one that lost its seal quickly. I haven’t used them all. I don’t like that you have to use the black zipper piece instead of just a hand closure like food saver bags. My food saver bags do work with zwilling hand vacuum pump

I cannot use these bags be I don't have the right machine for them.The bags look really great .I will not return them and pay almost the same almost the same price for shipping them back as I paid for them .Wish I could use them because they look like a great bag they're nice and thick.

These keep the vacuum way better than the glass containers. The glass doesn't keep the vacuum long.

This is an additional set for smaller items I have in the fridge or freezer. Usually works well, but sometimes does not hold the seal in the fridge. I think this may be due to the food items placed inside as they may have off gases that are trying to get out.

Getting started with the system may be expensive if you get the glass containers, but the glass containers can go in the oven or microwave.
