With the current olive oil shortages, our go-to brand has been out of stock for a couple of months, so I decided to give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised because the olive oil tastes good, and I'm very picky when it comes to olive oil. It has a nice flavor, and I like the size too. I was going to reorder, but it's out of stock as of today. I will definitely reorder when it's restocked. But it's a good everyday olive oil, not too expensive compared to others out there. I would recommend it.

I love the quality, taste and functionality of this olive oil. I don’t like the amount of glass I use getting it at the grocery store. Switching to the larger boxed version is a more cost-effective way to have fresh olive oil.I have a glass bottle with a pour top that slows down the amount that comes out as I pour it so I end up using less. I can also pour some directly from the container spout when I’m needing more (like when I’m making a dressing) which makes it really functional.All in all, I’m impressed with how useful and cost effective this is. I’m not at the store every month needing more olive oil but it’s not so much that it will go rancid in my pantry.Love this wholesale style olive oil!

We are asking big fan of this California EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). It has a really mild flavor that is very versatile for so many dishes. We used to just get whatever EVOO was cheapest in the stores until we read an article about how prevalent counterfeit EVOO is when it comes from overseas, even for a lot of the bigger brands. Apparently, it is often replaced with sunflower or another cheaper type of oil. After so much research, we found this brand that is perfect for our needs. EVOO has good health benefits and is very easy to cook with. This box saves us money (maybe because of the packaging), but it is not my favorite method of storing the oil. We kept an older glass bottle of this EVOO though so we just refill it from this box once it becomes empty. Overall, we highly recommend this California Ranch EVOO for all of your cooking needs.

December 2023 UPDATE: I bought here on Amazon an imported Italian olive oil that tastes more like olives. I cancelled my subscription to COR and started it with Partanna which was not more expensive.I purchased and subscribed to receive California Olive Ranch’s 100% California Bag-in-Box Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2L and I enjoyed the quality of the product. The oil is certified by the Olive Oil Commission of California, one of the strictest in the industry, which gives me confidence that I am using a high-quality product. (You can feel it in the back of the throat.) The eco-friendly two-liter box is equivalent to four 500ml glass bottles and keeps the oil fresher longer. The oil has well-rounded floral, buttery, and fruity notes, making it versatile for use in marinades, sautéing, roasting, grilling, frying, and even baking. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile, and eco-friendly olive oil.

We love cooking with olive oil. The more we read, the more we were impressed with what people had to say about California Olive Ranch. All it took was one box. It is now on our Subscribe and Save list, and we no longer buy olive oil at the grocery store. We love how it tastes in every recipe calling for olive oil, and we even use it to blend 50/50 with butter as a spread for toast and baked potatoes.

This smells so good and it’s pure- expensive oil but worth the price-Too many fake Italian olive oils in the market- this is home grown in CA- very tasty-
