So far it is working like a charm. I bought it b/c my other automatic pepper grinder died. I have arthritis and it's hard for me to manually turn a regular grinder. I bought this one based on the reviews. It's beautiful and professional-looking in my opinion. If I have to say anything I could have done without as a feature, it would be the light. That will make me have to change batteries more frequently.

Not powerful enough to grind my red pepper (tiny pieces of pepper that I wanted in a finer grain). Might try it with black pepper but don't have high hopes. Better off just buying a grinder w/o batteries and saving some money.

It says for grinding small spices so I bought it to grind flax seeds but it will not grind them at all. they either come through whole or if I adjust the grind, they don't grind at all. So I just ended up with a extra grinder. all other features are nice.

This doesn't really grind the pepper properly. I thought it was just the batteries, but alas I changed them out with brand new ones. My hand turned pepper mill works much better. I even tried a variety of peppercorns thinking that was the issue.

so far they are working well and as described.

Nice item, works well. The top area where you turn it to fill and replace batteries seems a little loose, but it does not affect anything and the 2500mah rechargeable batteries we use for these work great. Don't have to keep buying alkaline batteries.

This item is unusable because the top & bottom will NOT reconnect after adding the 4 AA batteries. When I tried (for 1 hour) to add spices, the entire unit fell apart. Thankful for Amazon's liberal return policy. I reordered a "best seller" unit for half the price. I hope it works.

I assumed it was a salt and pepper set but this was only 1 grinder. I returned it to purchase a set but I was out the $6 shipping. Guess I need to read the fine print.
