Previous and current
I use to love this product it work great so I decided to buy the 120 capsules due it was a couple months supply. I think the formula might have changed or the product they are using because the 30day supply was great and worked this one isn't doing so great so not sure if the company changed something or not.

Okay probiotic. Misleading on the "prebiotic"
This product claims to be a prebiotic and probiotic. Where's the prebiotic? Prebiotics are defined as molecules which beneficial bacteria use to maintain a helathy population and produce other beneficial molecules such as short chain fatty acids. These are usually soluble fibers and oligosaccharides. As far as I can tell this contains none of those. What it does contain is a proprietary product which contains bacteriophages - bacteria-infecting viruses. This is certainly NOT a prebiotic. It seems that there are studies underway to evaluate the effectiveness of this strategy at improving the microbiome but, other than some preliminary safety data, no efficacy data yet exists. The prebiotics included are fine, although I do like L. rhamonsus in my prebiotics, but no one really knows at this point if supplementing with a prebiotic really does anything anyway outside of the context of preventing C. diff following antibiotic usage. A very good recent study showed that the best thing you can do to encourage a diverse and healthy microbiome is to just eat some fermented foods every day (study just published in Cell). For the reasons outlined above, this may be fine, but the labeling is misleading, cost is high, and I would probably not be taking this unless the evidence from the PHAGE trial actually shows a benefit.
