My grandma can't live without these tho they aren't the old original. Very close and hard to find anyway. My order was very screwed but they did make it right with personal, English speaking service and included a bonus

I like them better when they were in a box. The packet they come in now keeps them too fresh, if you can believe that's my complaint. These lozenges have evolved over the years. They used to be thin wafers like a Necco, and would quickly melt on the tongue. They were called Marion's Original Throat Discs then. They disappeared for a time, and then came back as round pellets. The box was the same, however the word Marion's was gone. The new name just Original Throat Discs with a blank space where the name Marion's used to be. The pellets don't dissolve as fast, but I resolved this by quartering them with a pill cutter. Then the formula was changed, the word Original removed from the name, and the licorice odor became stronger. That wasn't a big deal, as it would dissipate after several weeks. At some point the polar bear and "soothe" was added, Now they come in zippy lock packets. The new packets keep them fresher, though, which some people may like. No big deal I suppose, as I can dump them out into a dish and let them sit for a couple weeks. Still, like most old people, I remember the original product as being the best. It might not have been better, but that's what I think.

Every cold that I get, starts with a sore throat. So, at the first sign of a sore throat, I start sucking on Throat Discs non-stop until I feel like I have beat the cold. It could be up to a day or two. And I pretty much beat every cold before it really gets started. I ALWAYS have Throat Discs with me because I never know when it might strike. For me, they are a miracle cure!!

Lots of problems with the order.Took almost a month to resolve, but happy now.Be aware that manufacturer changed the count by almost half.. Will order again because the discs really do work very well.

Great product, works good to keep me from getting hoarse after speaking.
