Great for traveling
I purchased these cold packs for an overseas trip I took in Feb/March. I was on a tour with 34 other people and there was a lot of walking. I have knee and ankle issues and wore braces while out and about, but I still needed to ice in the evenings. These ice packs did the trick. The cold didn't last as long as I'd like, but it was enough to help keep my knees and ankles from swelling and helped with the strain/pain. When I cracked the first one open, it took a lot of strength and I was worried I'd break it wide open - but it didn't and thus I figured out how to best get the cold activated. These were certainly worth the cost and I'll buy them again and use them when I travel the next time (especially if there will be a lot of walking).

I keep these in stock
I am a team manager for 2 soccer teams and always have these in my medical first aid kit. They are easy to activate (fold, squeeze and pop) and most importantly they are cold!! So many I have used in the past are hardly cool. The only downfall is that are on the smaller side and when tending to high school aged boys, I need to use 2 at a time.

Iāve had better
I had one similar to this in my first aid kit, and used it when a friend of mine rolled his ankle playing sports. It was great, super cold, and lasted a decent amount of time. So I got this in hopes itād be the same and to replace the kit.To test it I tried one and timed it. It stayed cold for 12 minutes and was chill for another 5ish minutes. However, it didnāt get as cold as I had hoped, like as cold as an ice pack. It was cold, but not cold enough to help with an inflamed injury, like a strained ankle, which is most likely what it would be used for being a volleyball player. Therefore in terms of pain relief, it would lack, but at least it could provide small some comfort when injured.Other than this, it was great in size and portability.

Replenishing first aid kit.
These were perfect for refilling supplies in our first aid kits. I work with a student group that travels and does service and we have to replace items on their first aid kits. These worked great. I over estimated how many of these we needed but now will just have more to use as replacements for the future.

Full of ādudsā
Recently took 4 ice packs on a trip. Of the fourā¦..TWO TURNED OUT TO BD DUDES that never were able to be ābrokenā and stet cooling. Thatās a 50% success rate and an F in my book. They are easy to use but not reliable in if they will actually work or not.
