Another great update of a classic figure from the original 1980's line but this one comes without the smell.

"Stinkor! He really stinks!" Went an old advert, possibly narrated by Tom Baker off of Doctor Who. This new version of Stinkor isn't quite as whiffy; less of the smell of old hippies and college drop outs (waves) and more the same sort of noxious materials poundshop bootleg toys have. As with all the MOTU figures, he's an explosion of steroids in some Y-fronts; only this time dressed up a skunk. I like him, he's certainly a riot of colour,with all that bright orange. He looks quite cute too, until you get a closer look at his face and see what a toothy horror it is. That's what you get for reusing Mer-Man's fishy face. The armour suprised me, as I was expecting it to be solid plastic, but it's all soft and squishy. The shield is an odd thing for an accessory; I'm guessing it's to protect him from others that can't stand the smell. I'd have preferred some sort of melee weapon; but it'll do. The added articulation for these new Origins figures is nice and as with all the others, you can pull his limbs off and mix it up with other figures in the line to make your own figures. Or just make it look like the battle went really well for He-Man and chums. Probably not the greatest figure from the line, in all honesty, more of an amusing diversion.
