Nach 10 Tagen Bikepacking möchte ich das Tarp von Wise Owl nicht mehr hergeben. Es hat mich weder bei Regen noch bei starkem Wind im Stich gelassen. Gerade die sechseckige Form scheint mir ein Vorteil für den Aufbau zu sein. Das Tarp ist schnell auf- und abgebaut

Das Tarp ist auf dem Bild klar erkenntlich sechseckig. Geliefert wurde es als Viereck. Auch wenn Lönge und Breite korrekt angegeben sind, so spart Wise Owl dadurch aber mächtig viel Textil! Die weise Eule kann rechnen …Statt wie auf den Bildern und in der Wortbeschreibung 6 Schnüre sind nur 4 dabei. Deren Länge ist okay (rund 2 Meter). Sie sind aber dünn wie Schnürsenkel. Eine stärkere Windböe werden sie nicht aushalten!Und gerade Mal 2 superkleine und deshalb gänzlich unbrauchbare Aluhäringe/Pegs sind im Pack.Auf dem Bild sind klar 4 erkennbar.Das würde dann erklären, warum dieses Pack als Ultralight verkauft wird: Weniger Stoff, Schnur & Festmacher. So eine Frechheit zum selben Preis.

An amazing hammock fly! Put it to the test and it did its job beautifully!Rain, (not drizzle), and wind. I set it up with the wings low, and low on hammock to reduce that horizontal rain.When the rain eased, I pegged out one arm to give me a lovely awning...Perfect. I love the colour, its soft on the eyes when you're laying under it, not gaudy.I especially love that there is no need for a ridgeline. The tarp has a reinforced line. The ability to adjust tension from under the tarp is especially good, no getting sodden if need to adjust. Well made. Reinforced where needed.The owl logo is gorgeous, and it stuffs back into the stuff bag no problem at all!I am one very happy hammocker, super awesome lightweight too! I used a square of shade cloth under my setup so I didnt bring muck into my hammock from the ground. Happy, happy, happy.

Überall steht das die Plane 6 Ecken hat, gekommen ist eine mit 4 Ecken die viel kleiner ist.
