I purchased these for hanging outdoor lights on my condo balcony, mainly because I thought they were clear. The clips may be clear but the adhesive strip is not. It is white, making the entire clip, look white! Overall the clip works great, the adhesive is strong but not what I was expecting.

The product seems good, comes with instructions that are easy to follow. The issue id that they don't stick very long, I hung some string lights on our balcony, made sure the surfaces were flat and clean, made sure to use enough hooks so the weight would be no issue (no that there is much weight on the string lights) but the sticker would still fall off after a few days....I would reapply a new sticker, but the same thing would happen. After the fourth time, the lights fell down some of the bulbs broke, very disappointed in this product.

These have survived the elements for a year now, holding my coloured lights under the metal gutters of my caravan. Worth the money.

Used these to hang up some outdoor string lights just over a year ago. The adhesive did shockingly well (through a Canadian Winter + Summer no less) but the plastic bits (i.e. the hooks) actually snapped off while the lights were on them, so of course the lights came crashing down and we lost a few bulbs. The lights aren't heavy (very standard patio string lights) and we took care to hook them up every 3-4 feet so we were a bit disappointed, but maybe the weather got to the plastic...Decent value for the year we had them, but won't be trying again with glass bulbs.

I hung a set of string lights on my balcony following all instuctions. I even counted 30 seconds! Within minutes of returning inside, I saw them start to fall off. They were attached to a smooth balcony railing in 17 degrees Celsius! So disappointed in this purchase
