I should have written this review sooner since I'm an environmental scientist and want to promote things like these to divest from plastics! I've been trying out a bunch of products and have found that they all measure up, especially UNNI. The snack, sandwich, gallon and dog fecal bags are fantastic, durable, don't leak and are all that I use. I know they're expensive for bags, but as is everything that is new to the market and before it becomes more mainstream. We need to get away from the ubiquitous plastic that consumes us folks! The more people get on the compostable/biodegradable bandwagon for a more sustainable future, the cheaper and widespread these products will be. Thank you for all who have tried them and will continue to! Our planet's prognosis is very poor right now, but making changes in your life will help heal the wounds. No action is insignificant, please remember that.

The opaque green color and soft latex-like texture might be strange that first, almost like those bags people use for picking up doggy poo— but these bags certainly ‘feel’ like they are delicate enough to be composted easily. I really ordered them as to mail something to a city that has eco-friendly practices, including banning the use of plastic bags. Of course I will compost a bag myself to see how well it works but either way I feel better knowing there is an alternate bag to use. One was used for snacks and so far it works fine though I get the sense certain foods will probably eat through the bags more easily so keep that in mind.

Due to COVID, kids can only take disposable lunch packaging to school. I despise plastic baggies and got these for lunches. They are great material and we can for sure be reused if rinsed. We just haven't been able to.

Stumbled upon these while searching for an alternative to plastic baggies. This is a very nice alternate although the price point is much higher than the plastic bags. Still not a deal breaker, very good product.

I just used it for the first time, and I almost don't want to throw it away! I may wash and reuse once! thank goodness that there are people who recognize that each of us must do our part to save the planet!

Such a great product. Realizing the impact we have on the environment - my husband and I were looking for ways to make a smaller impact while still having the ease of our daily lives. The only down side? Can be difficult to open.

These little bags are surprisingly strong. The "zip" closure works better than any other bags I've used! (I know it seems trivial, but ever tried closing a zip bag that won't engage?)

Had to return they were almost impossible to open and then zip closed.
