Life Saver
This timer has saved my life. Now I do not use it in my kitchen. I am a teacher and I use it for tests and activites in class. It is somewhat easy to use. Be mindful when you are trying to set the seconds that you have to hold it tight to make sure that they change. Other than that it is the best purchase I made for my classroom this year. It was the best thing ever for state testing this year. It is clear, visible for all my students to see and it does not cause a distraction for the students like the smart board does. I love it!! It is really good on battery life as well. Just remember that when the batteries go out they are gone and there is no going back so keep them on hand. There is no indication when the batteries are about to go out. Also, it is not that loud, but it is just loud enough to anoy you so that you remeber that you set it in the first place.

Discrete little timer for my work desk!
I was looking for a small timer with a soundless option. Great for if you work in an office and need a timer that won’t disturb your deskmates. I like that I can see when the time runs out without the annoying beep. It’s super easy to use, small enough so that it doesn’t take up too much space, and has improved my productivity!

Good, but is missing a key feature
Easy and intuitive to use. I didn’t give it 5 Stars because it doesn't display or count hours, but it’s not a big issue. I would also like to have the choice of more colors and perhaps made from aluminum or a harder acrylic. This timer is very handy in the kitchen, I stuck it to the fridge and we use it a lot.

Awesome
Magnetic and comes with 2 different sticky pads to place in 2 different places. I love it and easy to use. Push to start and stop. Twist to set timer. I use it to meditate, and after having it for a few months, it still works and it is loud enough to sometimes let my wife know where I am meditating.

Doesn't work consistently
A timer should be fairly simple to use. After all, its job is a simple one. Count down a certain number of seconds and hopefully sound an alarm. This timer is just wacky enough not to do any of these things well.First, the button. The button sometimes works and sometimes it does not work. Clicking anywhere on the face of the timer produces a tacticle clicking sound and feel. Does this mean one can click anywhere and produce an action? It is hard to tell. There is a circle that is supposed to function as a button but it is simply a painted circle. The entire timer is the button. Clicking the button will sometimes stop the timer. Sometimes it does nothing. Sometimes it wakes the timer up and sometimes it does not. Pressing the button for a long period of time should reset the timer. Other times the timer simply goes dark indicating you have not pressed the button, even though you are pressing it. Then you realize the button isn't actually working and you press it again to turn the timer on, which may not work, then finally try again to reset it. Very tiring.Second, the ring. Turning the ring simply increases the seconds (in multiples of five) for the timer. Except sometimes it does not. Sometimes it increases the minutes. How does one tell which will be increased, minutes or seconds? The manual says "rotate rapidly and assure the rotate angle is greater than 60 degrees"! If that sounds a bit confusing, well it is just as confusing to try and put into practice.Last the timer has a plastic type cheapy feel to it and the ring is loose and doesn't have any heft to assist with rotating it to the right time. Can the timer be made to work - sure. But it is a tiring process that should be much simpler.

Whether I'm cooking delicate recipes that require precise timing or monitoring the duration of a fitness session, this timer delivers accuracy and reliability. The simplicity of switching between countdown and count-up modes is particularly impressive and allows me to adapt the timer's function effortlessly to suit my needs. One standout feature that sets this timer apart is its magnetic back. I love the convenience of being able to stick it to my fridge or any other magnetic surface, keeping it within easy reach at all times. It's fantastic when my hands are messy from cooking, as I don't have to fumble around looking for the timer. The timer's intuitive operation makes it suitable for users of all ages, from kids to seniors. Its user-friendly design ensures that even my young ones can use it confidently for their activities and homework. Cumbersome to use
I hesitate to give it a poor review, as there isn't anything wrong with it. It works as designed. It is just tedious to use because the dial is far too sensitive. Turning it just a little bit really changes the time, so it takes a long time to "dial in" the period you want. I kept going "oops! I turned it up too far, I need to turn it down. Oops! I turned it down too much, I need to turn it back up. Oops! I turned it up too much....." etc.I thought I would get used to it but I found that setting it took way longer than any other timer I've used and was kind of aggravating. It is a cool design, but after 5 or 6 months of using it, I gave it away and bought another. Push buttons just work better for this application IMO.
