Works to split Bose cinemate signal
Works to split the signal on Bose Cinemate so you can run four speakers. No quality or signal loss. I bought an extra pair dirt cheap off eBay in hopes this would work and it does with this cable. 4 tiny Bose satellites rocking my living room now! Love it. I also bought a 50 ft extension so I could place them in all four corners of my great room with 25 foot ceilings.

Make sure you are ordering the correct connector
This appeared to be a fine little connector, just as described, but my order turned out to be a mistake. What I was looking for was a cable that would connect to the VGA monitor outlet on my PC and enable me to use two monitors. That isn't a 9 pin connector, its a 15 pin connector. I'll send it back anyway because it is of no use to me.
