Got these to replace a grease cap that was lost . Works great .

The covers fit very tight, I used a file and tapered the leading edge slightly and was able to get them on the axle, once they are on they are not coming off easily.

Super easy to install! I just popped the rubber piece in, then tapped it into place, on my horse trailer with a rubber mallet! Good price, about the same as one was at a parts store, and I still have another as a backup!

These grease caps feel more sturdy and substantial than other brands I have used. The metal used in them is thicker. This probably makes them a bit harder to install. I had to put the caps in the freezer to shrink them a bit, and then used a wooden block and a hammer to install them. They seem to be in the hubs tight and I expect them to stay there for a long time.

I bought new hubs & bearings for my boat trailer last year, but they came with the solid metal hub caps that make it almost impossible to add grease. I prefer these because I have an axle with grease fittings on the ends, and these make it easier to access the grease fittings without having to use any tools.Like any other hub cap, initial installation takes a little effort unless you have a press, but once installed, these make re-greasing a breeze.The item was exactly as described, was well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition.
