Great beach/swimming item
So good, I’ve bought three. Wash well, great for days out. Dry quickly and a nice fit considering boys at different ages

Great hooded towel
Bought for my son (8) for holiday and for after swimming. I like microfibre towels as they are light and don't take up much space in a suitcase. They also dry much quicker than normal towels. My son loved it as it's quick and easy to chuck on over the top, dry off a bit and warm up and then he can get straight back in the pool and it was dry by the time he needed it again. The poppers down the sides were handy for drying as I could lay it flat. Others are mostly sewn down the sides so you can't open them right out which makes drying slower. Good quality and size of towel.

Good quality but expensive
The size I reviewed was child (5-10). My grandson is 10, and slightly tall for his age, but it goes down to his knees, which is fine. The colour I received was mid-blue, which is reasonably unisex, as was the design.This towel is ideal to dry you quickly, or even to keep warm when out of the water. The poncho design makes it very easy to wear, and allows you to change on the beach with some dignity.It’s made from a soft, medium weight material, which washes and dries quickly.The only problem is the price; you’re paying for the Lakeland brand and logo, and you could get the same quality from an off-brand alternative while paying at least £5 less.

Light, and compact to carry.
Bought this item for my grandson, delighted with it. Light and dries quickly,also takes up little room in his suitcase for holidays.

Fits my 8 year old
Really good with drying her and washing and drying in the machine but I don't think she will get more than a couple of years out of it. The hood is quite small but works perfectly fine for now

Not really a ‘towel’
I wouldn’t describe this as a towel. The fabric is very thin and not very absorbent, so doesn’t feel great for getting even a little dry or warm when out of the water.
