smart day/night function does not seem to work. How can I enable this mode?

I have found that light automatically switches between smart day or night. I own both the seemee 200 and 300 and I ride early morning before sunrise until after sunrise. When I select the brake mode by long pressing the power button until the light illuminates solid and then I select the mode I want; the light will automatically turn off the optitracing light after sunrise and be in day mode. The optitracing light only illuminates in night mode.

Can the mount fit my aero seatpost?

Yes sir. Also a seat mount is available if you have a bontrager seat or a new specialized. They have screw holes underneath for the special $10 mount

Will this attach to a road bicycle race Helmet? Pulsing effect looks great to help drivers accurately judge position of cyclist

The SEEMEE 300 is not designed to be attached directly to a road bicycle race helmet. It is primarily meant to be used on all standard saddles or seat posts.
