We live in a very hard water area. I purchased this Brita water filter because buying bottled water was proving expensive. Best decision made with this purchase. Highly recommended and it came with 6x filter cartridges. Great value for money too. Performance is great, size fits perfectly in the fridge and i love the filter indicator. Portability is fab light weight and durable.

Size and design is great, just beware of the lid if the water is too full, as it may came off, would be evenly better if the locking mechanism is stronger.

I stopped using a filter jug for a very short while but couldn't stand the taste of the water. This one has the great advantage of fitting in my fridge. It does mean it holds a bit less than some models but the only time I have emptied it is filling the kettle to full, (not something I normally do), or filling a large flask with cold water to take out for the day. It filters quite quickly so even for a family it would be big enough if topped up when used. It has the built in timer to tell you when your four weeks is up and time to fit a new filter. Changing/fitting a filter is straightforward, basically the same for all filter jugs. Came with extra filters making it very good value. Replacement filters are easy to find, got some half price from local supermarket. There are other brands of filters but pot luck on quality. I find it better to look for special offers on Brita filters and keep some in stock, there is no best before date on the filters and they are individually sealed.

Good quality and easy to use water filter. Lid for filling on top with simple hinge that should last. Clear body good for seeing contents. Indicator on lid for filter status easy to read/understand. Water tastes better as do drinks.

Well worth the money 6 cartridges delivered by royal mail one day early I have used Brita filters for years makes a difference for tea and coffee enjoy.
