RIDETECS16" Motorcycle Men’s Side Boot Zipper Oiled Leather Boots

I want and need support and protection over the calf of my legs. There are few non-custom boots that fill that need and these RideTecs are superior. That badly damaged foot requires a side zipper and extra size for me because the lack of range of motion and permanent swelling demand it.Sneakers, low boots, even 11" high boots if you can find them don't cut it.I unpacked these and slipped them on.I wore them the whole first day in comfort. No stiffness. The same the next day, and the next.The cushion in the boot is amazing in how it molds to the foot and makes you feel like you're walking on air.These are biker/engineer boots and have all of the reinforcement and adjustment of the historic boot. The instep strap has a bit of extra length to add a bit of balance to the buckle. The bottom of the boot has just a bit of extra border (?) that makes the boot more stable, ready to get down to business.One drawback was in the shipping. A 16" boot needs an internal support that comes up the full 16". Mine had an 8" support floating about in the bottom which meant the shafts are creased flat. As I cuff my boots, this creates a rather noticeable folded edge in the front and back. They are unsightly bloused.I hope I can work that out.

Liked the look of the boothad to return first pair.. boot was true to size until you put your socks onshould go up a half size to accommodate your socks..haven't ridden my bike yet to test the mobility

Mine fits true to size except the left boot is slightly tight on the outside toe. They are well constructed with a good sole. I even dabbed once in a water crossing without getting wet, though they aren't really waterproof. They are too stiff at first to shift gears well. I solved it with a couple of beer bottles shoved in just right to stretch the spot that was too tight just in front of the ankle. For walking it was fine. But just couldn't shift gears easily. All is fine now.

These boots were the perfect height for my husband's Santa suit. They were a little difficult to put on but I feel like they would loosen up as they are broken in as they are rather rigid leather boots, hence the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Once on they are the perfect size. My husband has rather narrow feet, so we were surprised when they were difficult to put on. They are very well constructed and look fantastic, that's what I like most about them.

Fit ALMOST perfect ! My left boot was ALITTLE loose. But that is because my heal bone was broken off !!!

these boots are the best I'v ever bought, and for the price there unbeatable,if your looking for really nice biker boots look no further! I wear a solid size 10 wide,these size 10 fit perf!! wide and comfortable, leather is good thickness, so there a little stiff at first,I recommend some leather conditioner,break them in for a couple of weeks, then enjoy for a long,long time there well made,I think they will start charging more when people find these,

One shoe had a defective zipper. The straps are for appearance only and don't tighten.

I will need to soak these boots and then wear them to get them to stretch to fit. Chinese sizing is rubbish.If they don't stretch I will need to sell them at a loss and get another cheap, non leather, boots.

Sadly the upper leg is too large. Wish the adjustment buckle would tighten more
