Another great Gaia product!
Gaia Herbs Cramp Relief - Herbal Supplement for Hormone Balance & Period Cramp Relief - Made...As a frequent herb user for most at-home remedies, I am a big fan of Gaia and have been purchasing herbal supplements from them for at least a decade. Mainly their Oregano oil which I LOVE for so many reasons. Needless to say, I trust in their formulations and quality of herbs. I was surprised by some of the herbs they included in this supplement for hormone balance and period cramps only because I have been taking some other herbs for cramp relief for years and expected those to be in this. However, these did work quite well as they are also well-known herbs for helping with that time of the month. I am pleased.. and didn't experience any side effects. IF YOU ARE NEW TO HERBS: always start slow and make sure you do your research on each herb in the supplement as herbs can interact with certain health conditions and other vitamins, herbs, and medications.

Gaia Herbs Cramp Relief - not ALL organic, uses a blend, ships in glass!
We use more than a couple supplements. It's not always possible to know how well each is working individually when taken with others. Over the years I have learned to use the label and the ad to judge the quality of a supplement. I use not only what IS there, but also what isn't there.Gaia Herbs Cramp ReliefPROS:Main supplement ingredients are organic.Ingredients are great choices for stated purpose. The capsules are in an amber glass bottle, which I appreciate a lot!The company, Gaia Herbs, has a website and has and MAINTAINS (!) an active social media presence. The label gives an ID # on the label where you can 'meet your herbs' : Locate your Herb ID on the product’s packaging Enter an Herb ID to search for your product’s batch Discover Industry-leading Herbal TransparencyUnfortunately, the batch number on my product returned: "Your search returned no results. Please try again." I was given the message: " CAN’T FIND YOUR HERB ID? Your Herb ID can be found on the back of your product. Or, take a test drive and review the testing results for Turmeric Supreme® Extra Strength."I did try multiple times on Firefox, Chrome and on my Android phone. I didn't want to look up a product that isn't mine. While this comment seems like it should be in the CONS below, I'm not going to fault a company for attempting to have such good transparency. I look forward to looking up my next Gaia Herb batch number! I think tracking the herbs has got to be time consuming and require a lot of attention to detail!CONS:$28 for 60 servings is 47¢ each. While the main ingredients are organic, the vegetable glycerin and sunflower lecithin are not.Uses a blend. The use of blends, or complexes, hides the amount of each individual ingredient. The amount may change from batch to batch, and as long as the total amount of the blend stays the same, the label doesn't change and the consumer is not informed. I want to be an informed consumer - I want to know exactly how much of EACH ingredient is in my supplement. If a product works for you one time, and the next bottle doesn't, see if a blend was used. It could be one of the key ingredients that was beneficial to you is present in a lesser amount. While there is NO information on the product stating where it is made, the only information I see that even comes close is in the Product details in the ad. It states country of origin: USA. The definition for Country of origin (CO) is: represents the country or countries of manufacture, production, design, or brand origin where an article or product comes from. So, the item could be designed in or the brand name from USA, while production takes place outside the USA. This is why I trust only the 'Made in (country name)', and want to see it ON the product. In this case, It does NOT state Made in USA on the label.Comment: If you appreciate quality supplements, Gaia Herbs is a store worth following on Amazon! Organic Relief
Gaia Herbs has been around for a long time and they are a brand I trust. I decided to try out their Cramp Relief Blend as my periods have been a bit heavier lately. They arrived just in time and I've been trying them out this cycle. They smell extremely fragrant, in a pleasant way, so I know the herbs are potent and must be of quality! The blend is made up of Licorice, White Peony, Turmeric, Yarrow, fennel and ginger! It truly smells delightful, but there is no taste of the capsules. Directions say to take 1 capsule 4x daily for menstrual cramp relief.

Effective!
Effective in relieving that awful feeling that comes with cramps. It felt like a warming sensation and the pain slowly just went away. Day 2 I had no cramping at all. I will say it is a lot to do 4 a day but when they work so well this could last 1-3 months if you only needed to use them on the first day or two. Easy to swallow, not much taste just don’t smell the bottle first!

Top notch quality
Gaia Herbs is a trusted brand for me and one of my go-to’s for high quality supplements. I’m very excited about using this for menstrual cramp relief. I know that every woman’s experience with cramping is different as will be the results of using this. I love that it’s made with organic ingredients that are known to help relieve pain. While they’re not cheap I personally feel like they’re worth the price. I definitely recommend.

Good quality product with a lot of benefits
I'll start by saying I love Gaia herbs, I have taken a number of their different products over the years and I think overall their brand, ingredients, and standards are ones that I really appreciate from a supplement company. I don't particularly like the taste/flavor of licorice/fennel, so I make sure to drink lots of water when I take these. I appreciate that all of the herbs I have bought from them come in a colored glass bottle which I much prefer over plastic, and the dark colored glass also protects them from sunlight.I personally didn't find these to help significantly with my cramps, but I'd take that with a grain of salt because I have endometriosis and severe dysmenorrhea, and very few things (including prescription pain killers) have helped significantly. I think if you have mild cramps, these are definitely worth a try, and I will probably continue to take them because they are good for overall hormone health, digestive health, as well as reducing inflammation.

Don't Try If You Hate Black Licorice
I didn't really feel any difference. They smell heavily of the licorice, which is not a pleasant smell or taste to me. They also make you taste licorice if you burp.

"ok"
I like this brand but I would not say these went above and beyond for their intended purpose. I prefer a turmeric complex or SAMe for cramps.
