It smells very much like chemicals, yes. BUT! after a few uses on thrifted items, it has definitely gotten rid of the smoke smell on them. Oh this stuff yessss I bought it hoping it worked in my husbands truck cuz he’s the smoker in the house. I was shocked! I sprayed it when he came home from work. Later when he was sleeping I ran out just to see and it smelled so good. Not perfume smell good it smelled like lemon. I bought the original and it smells like lemmon. Now I buy the vanilla for the house

Works amazing! I ordered it for a pair of shoes that have an odor and it took it out within a few minutes! I also use it after smoking and it completely gets rid of the smell. I would recommend this 10/10. The original has a nice scent to it, reminds me of a tangerine/orange scent.
