Gave them a skoosh of Deoxit and some in-out with a Krackle Killer and that fixed it.Similar thing with a friend's Hohner bass where it also fixed crackly pots.Did all my pedal ins and outs and all my amp in and Fx loops for good measure.Get some, treat it like gold... The fact that your issue is with a remote control volume pot is neither hear nor there! Using it manually if there is a crackle at a certain \"point on the dial\" it'll probably help. You'll have to pull the knob off so you can access the spindle and then just spray in small quantity on the shaft letting in soak through. give it a few minutes and then firmly twist the volume control up and down through it's full range.
