I'm looking for outdoor lights where bugs can't get into the bulb area. Are the ends open or enclosed? Thanks.

The ends are enclosed; however, the seals do not hold and they fill with water. I have replaced 2 so far for this reason. My initial order came in LED 5000K and the replacements I have ordered are in 3000K so the light color is different.

Do these have photo cells?

No from the factory. You have to install an aftermarket photocell.

Are these lights "dimmable"?

This led light is not dimmable, dimmable switch is not applicable.

How many bulbs are in this fixture? Do you have to install the bulbs from the top? Is the top open to rain?

This light has 8 bulbs, they are installed and they are waterproof. My husband put a drop of sealer on each of the 4 screws on the top just to be absolutely sure the rain did not get in.
