Do these pens work in cold temperatures? Normal ball point pens won't function in the cold. Normal Sharpies work but they bleed a lot.

Though I don't use these outdoors, I tried an experiment for your question. I put one of these black markers & a blue one in my 0 degree freezer, along with a piece of paper, and kept all in there for 30 minutes.The makers performed perfectly, clearly, and readily, without a single smear or smudge.(The blue marker is the same brand/marker via a separate purchase/listing.)I LOVE these markers & use them for everything. I am VERY particular about markers & these are my all-time favorites. Hope my experiment helped. :)

Do these pens bleed through pages?

Not at all! I'm a felt-tip pen nut; I've tried several brands and this is the only pen I have experienced that neither bleeds nor smudges, yet writes smoothly and with excellent precision.

Do they dry out if left open? the people at my hose and office (myself especially so) seem to have an inability to remember to put the caps back on.

They do dry out a little bit if left for a day or so, but not as bad as a big Sharpie or other markers. Just wet a little, dab a little, and they're ready to go. I like these pens so much that I actually keep track of them and try to remember to put caps back on because I don't want to have throw any of them away before using it all up. Never ever had a pen like that before! And the price is right! Hope that helps.

What's there not to love about Sharpies? There are Indian equivalents, but then the quality of the Ink and the Tip are both awesome.
