Broke quickly.
Seems great….but after about 20 hours uses it broke…with a sudden snap as I was trying to grasp an empty box. Very sad, but I won’t buy another .

Sturdy
Very sturdy and great trip. I also like the few extra inches in length.

Fave brand but...
My favourite brand for grabber tools - easiest and comfiest trigger/handle for me, someone who has sensory and pain and weak muscle difficulties. The grabber I had before this had a nice flashlight feature but the big several-ridge/bump "ergonomic" style trigger/handle hurts my hand no matter how I tried to hold it (and is a common style) AND was so much harder to squeeze which also made it hurt worse and caused worse hand fatigue much faster. HUGE improvement with this style and brand.I bought this when I was living in an RV, and unfortunately both this and the other one broke where they fold during that time. One would have been fine if I didn't leave it unfolded in that very shakey and cramped situation I think, and the other, I think the EZPIK, broke pretty quickly when my dad tried to get and something far under my bed. It was incredibly disappointing, but I actually think it was a fluke. They have either improved their design and/or haven't had any issues yet with my new ones cause I'm no longer in an RV. (And will use old one for under bed just in case. 😝)Even with the break, we just taped it up and kept using it luckily and being home bound and in a house not on wheels now, I can more easily just leave them unfolded, which I prefer. I worry a little about potential snaps if they fall in general or from earthquakes but once they're all on hooks that'll be less of a worry. For the one I do leave folded sometimes since it's cramped space, hung by my toilet, I like that the grabber isn't touching the handle when folded up cause I'm germaphobic and use it to pick up trash from floor and push down trash in the cans to make space. It just has to be facing vertically. I never knew how to rotate the claw but kinda sorta figured it out recently -- hold the trigger down then you can move it?Didn't remember that I'd gotten 40 inch one before, have lost that first one. But I want to get another. It may also be more fragile when they are extra long, but the 36" ones have two folds and been working well with no issue. I'm 5'6" (and my parents are shorter and taller than me and all have back pain amongst other things that make it hard to bend) and 36" works pretty well for all of us -- works well for me both sitting and standing, reaching up to high shelves and down to floor (and across the room somewhat but 40+ inch could be more useful for that for even farther range.)I can pick up small bits of debris/trash instead of sweeping or vacuuming or squatting) bending/touching floor which is fantastic.I struggled to pick up a thin cardboard thing but was and to do it when i held down one end with my foot!I can pick up a lot of products in the bathroom and kitchen.I struggle to pick up heavy things with it -- a comfy material over some of the pole would be a nice improvement for when I need to add more support and shift weight with my other hand to get heavier stuff -- and also a lock feature would be incredibly helpful for that and in general. I've only seen lock feature on one brand in here and it can scrape your hand so it looks bad and hope more brands add this feature in the future. And would love if they sold different colours and ones with more coloura instead of mostly silver and black!

#1 Great Tool but NOT for power gripping (PLEASE READ)
The media could not be loaded. I got mine June 7th 2022 and the handle broke some yesterday September 19th 2022.Before I start, I was very rough with this 40 inch grabber. It's a great grabbing tool with a good reach. The tool is 39 3/4 inches long from closed tip to tip of hanging hole.(Where EZPIK Logo is)It has a 3 7/8 inch maximum inner opening, and can lift a maximum of 4 pounds.I was able to pick up my 4.2 lb boots off floor and carry them but couldn't hardly lift up too high.Maybe 2 to 3 feet off ground. The wire hasn't broken or shown any signs yet and I man handled it a lot.The 40 inch is too long for my mom to use in her 70s.She can't use no longer than a 36, in case you are looking for elderly people, it works great for them. But works great outdoors and also can bring the item to you after grabbing it, in a 90 degree angle, as it folds to you.So once an item is grabbed when the tool is straight, don't let go when it folds back to you or you won't be able to grasp the object once folded in past 90 degrees. It might drop the object if you let go off handle and re squeezing.Probably not intended to be use like that, could be why my handle broke. But still worth buying again because I used it for a lot of heavy lifting every day.Works great for grabbing things behind dryers, washers, dressers, fridge, and more.Basically I put it to the test except for, beating it up and leaving it outside in the rain or submerging under water.I might get back to you when I find that out after I try to buy another one.Right now he's still kicking and working ok.Claw Tip:Pull claw out and turn some, let go while turning, til it pops back down back in place, to turn claw in another angle.Claw can only go up and down or left and right.
