Lasted 7 years in a generator
I bought this battery in 2018 and it lasted until 2025 in a 3000 Honda Generator that was started once per week for maintenance. Based on past performance bought another one. One thing I noticed is that there is NO information on the factory warranty, which seems a bit odd but may be an issue based on some other reviews.

12 volt battery motorcycle
Great battery for the priceAlso keep in mind that the majority of theGEL/ACID BATTERIES ARE THE SAMEWould not recommend over paying for a battery when the majority of them are made by the same manufacturers

The kind of battery that leaves you stranded
So far okay on a KTM 1190 Adventure. Can have issues starting the bike unless it's in neutral and when you're starting often between short rides. I would not rely on this in colder weather below 50deg F for large engine motorcycles.EDIT: nope. YTZ14SGEL won't reliably crank my KTM 1190 Adventure. Either when doing multiple short rides in a row, or when not in neutral or in any weather that is even mildly cold. This battery is intended to be compatible with YTZ14S, and even claims the same identical 230 cold-cranking amps rating. This simply cannot be true given my experience with the authentic OEM battery and this one. Not happy with it at all.I regret my purchase and would not recommend it. It's not worth the risk to have to get towed or be stuck in a bad place with a dead motorcycle

Delivered at low voltage level and won't take a charge past 11.8 volts-UPDATED
I received the battery about 35 days ago, and has been sitting in my house, waiting on me to put other projects to bed. When I took the battery out to put it on the charger, the initial voltage in the battery was 8.1 volts. I put it on the battery charger and the charger peaked out at 11.8 volts, with no further increase in voltage for the next 4 hours. I don't know if the battery has a dead plate in it, as most batterys will charge to at least 13.5-14 volts and hold for a period of time.I contacted the seller to see what they will do. At this time, I will only give this battery 2 stars, as I may still be able to use it for a short duration, but I don't think it will last long. Next time, I think I will look for a battery with an acid pack that is used to fill the cells. I think I had one of these batterys on my ATV that lasted 3-4 seasons, so I am willing to give the seller the benefit of the doubt.UPDATE 8/3/19- The seller replied within 24 hours to my complaint about the battery. Now total of 1 weeks time from my complaint, I have a new battery in front of me. Base voltage 12.5, put it on the charger and it takes about 14.4 volts to charge the cells until max capacity. Resting voltage after charging is 13.5 volts. 1.5 volts higher than the first battery (most likely indicating a dead cell in the first one). Bumped the star rating from 2 to 4 stars for the customer service/speed of processing/new battery performance. Will edit this based on battery LIFE.

Nitpick
Should work perfectly in my motorcycle

2.5 years later, still holds strong.
Had this battery for 2.5 years. Battery is still good, have not trickle charged it because I ride frequently, even during the winter.

Did not expect this!!!
I am blown away by this battery. I’ve had this battery about a year. Originally bought it to put in my sons raptor 250 but then my battery died on my 450 so I put it in to see if it would start the 450, started it right up. It also started it better than the $100 battery I had , so I’ve left it in the 450. This $40 battery has crushed it all season and starts my 450 instantly. I was about to drop $160 but luckily nothing would get to me before I left for my trip.I really thought this battery would last 4 to 6 months and it would be worthless, but surprisingly it is still doing great. I haven’t started my 450 in six months or charge that battery and I just went out and it started right up.I don’t know if I got the one in 1 million battery or not but I’m gonna buy another one and find out.I fully recommend getting one of these. No, I’m not affiliated with this companyNo, I didn’t get anything for free
