Famous Five 21 Book Complete Classic Edition Gift Set (Famous Five Gift Books and Collections) Paperback

This set I bought for my 9 year old daughter.... I have asked her to write a review and below review is been provided by her....Famous FiveReviewHi this is Saee. I am nine years old. I started reading this books from 27/06/2020. I am currently reading 9th book. I love reading these books. This involves 4 cousins and their pet dog.First book is about 3 children visit their cousin. There they visit Kirin Island. They go for a dive in the sea, to explore the old wreck. They do a thrilling discovery in the dungeons.Second book - They again visit Kirin cottage. They get a tutor to look after them. After couple of days they get to know that their tutor is some smuggler. They explore a secret tunnel led to a secret passage.Third book - The five run away to the Kirin Island . But there suspect some smugglers. But at night they here some girl screaming. Are the smugglers even kidnapers? Will they be able to catch them?I can’t tell what every book is about. But I bet you will not keep the book down once you start reading!

Complete set of 21 books , bought it for my son ...he is extremely happy with it !! quality of books is also decent , paperback quality is also good

These books are my all time favorite 😍. Ordered these for my 7 year old, she too loves them! I've deducted 1 star for sending me regular edition books instead of the classic edition which I had ordered. Amazon India please note this as many customers have complained about the same!

The book set is complete with all 21 books, but the print on the books is different than the pne show in the pictures for the product i had bought this book set specifically because of the print and the cover design which resembles the original print of the books but this is a new cartoony version and honestly i don't like it, i have been a famous five fan since i was 8 and i have read all the books in a lilbrary , but i wanted to own a set myself since long, and i expected the product to be as it is in the pictures given, also the box in which it came has multiple tears and scratches, and i know what a hassle it will be now to return it or replace it, so i am stuck with it anyway.

Got the copy of serial no 5 and 7 book double.Whereas serial no 11 and 17 are missing..

Enid Blyton is one of my favourite author and Famous Five is one of her masterpieces. I have lot of childhood memories attached to this series and was looking forward to gift these books to my daughter. But Alas! It was a huge disappointment becoz of below mentioned reasons;1) The box set comes without a box, there is nothing attractive or classic about it. It was delivered as a pile of books packed in the Amazon carton.2) The books look new and got a good cover...but inside it's just like any other paperback with thin pages and not so good pictures...it looks almost liked photocopied pages.Once you open the book, the fun of reading and flipping pages of a good book is gone..Having said that, if you want to introduce your child to good books, getting 21 books at price of 2650 /- is not a bad deal at all..

Replacement item is same as the one sent earlier. The issue was that it's not CLASSIC as advertised. The illustrations are new and not vintage as should be in the Classic collection. This is cheating. Wish I could return the whole thing and get a refund.
