Sturdy and effective
I purchased this product in the hopes it would last longer than the usual cheapo ones I grab when in the supermarket. In my photo I show what I use to use next to this product. This one has a rubber grip (although I've honestly never slipped using a standard plastic one so not sure if this is a big advantage), the bristles spread out more meaning less gunk gets trapped between bristles and it looks nice (at least while new).I don't like knowing this will likely end up in a landfill one day but it's good at its job, looks good and feels sturdy (again, never snapped a cheap one so not sure how essential this is)I like the product but don't know if I can justify the 6x price tag for future purchases. That will depend on how long it lasts, and on how long the bristles maintain their shape.

Not as good as it used to be
We had used an Oxo Good Grips dish brush for 3 years, and felt it was time to replace it. It was so much better than the cheap ones from the supermarket. However, this replacement is not as durable as the one purchased three years ago and we are disappointed.

The best scrubber! Ever!
I had one of these which I had for a 3-4 years. I used to bleach it, run it through the dishwasher until it died.Picked up a pretty pink one from a well known budget store which sells brands. Lasted all of 3 months....I’ve now got my trusty OXO good grips back and won’t swap brands no matter how pretty the other scrubbers are!Would highly recommend this product, especially as it is well designed and produced. You really do get what you pay for

Can’t fail to do the job without effort!
So pleased that I needed to pass on the longer handled version of this washing up brush to my 100yrs old mother in her Care Home flat, because that was why I decided to order this one.Ergonomically it sits well in my hand, feeling very easy and comfortable in my weakening right hand. The bristle head is a great shape for reaching into the bottom of mugs to do a proper job of removing tea stains. I would recommend this to encourage others to wash up. It is a pleasure to use.

Not as shown in the picture. Then it was. Then not as shown. Now Amazon have given up.
I wrote a review, then updated it months later. I'm now updating it again, about a year on (August 2018)..Now, Amazon seem to have given up on trying to get the item images, description and supplied product actually matching.Over about 18 months I've had three units of this item. The first time I placed an order, the item did not match the images. They sent a GoodGrips brush (thick, all black handle and all white bristles). The description and images were for a SoftGrips brush (slimmer black & white handle, with blue and white bristles).Months later, Amazon updated the listing. As they appeared to have looked into the issue, I ordered another one, hoping that they had the correct item in stock now. They sent the wrong item again. It was the same as the first one they sent to me.Quite a few months on, the item page was updated again. Now there was an OXO video of the item I wanted, as well as the images and description of it. I tried another order. It was the wrong item yet again. It now appears than they cannot be bothered trying to get the images and description to match the item, as they have now added "(colour may vary)" to the product title. It is a shame really, as the SoftGrips item has a slimmer handle (black & white), which is also cylindrical, feels better in my hand. The shape of the handle of the all black item is oval. So, it is actually quite thick and chunky. I find this shape not as comfortable.Plus, if you want the item to match the other items of the SoftGrips range, "colour may vary" really doesn't help.I've got the bottle brush, sports bottle brush, appliance cleaning set, deep clean brush and grout brush, all in the black/white handles and blue/white bristles. So, for me the colour and handle shape matter. If you don't care about colour or shape, then order it, as it is a decently made dish brush. If you like your items to match, then it's a lottery.Since my original review on 19/06/17, it now appears (26/10/17) that Amazon have updated the product page and corrected the issue with the image. The image of the dish brush (with the all black handle and all translucent bristles) reflect the item that I was originally sent. However, the OXO video that is on the item's page is still incorrect. This video shows the black & white handled brush, with blue & white bristles, that is not the dish brush that is supplied. So, now you will be aware of what the product looks like. You may be matching it to other products that you already have, or have a preference over the arrangement of the bristles. My original review from 19/06/17 is below:Amazon are sending out the wrong item.Item received from Amazon was not the item pictured on the website. This image shows an OXO SoftGrips dish brush. This has a black handle, white shaft and blue & white bristles. The item supplied was an OXO GoodGrips dish brush. This has an all black handle and shaft, and only white bristles. My photo shows this item as supplied.Ok, it isn't the worst thing that has happened. However, if I wanted the GoodGrips version, then I would have ordered that. The main reason I wanted the SoftGrips brush was due to already owning that version of their bottle brush. They both have a black handle, white shaft and blue & white bristles. The item received is much chunkier than the one I ordered, and as such doesn't feel as good in your hand. Plus, it just doesn't look as stylish as the one I should have received.Going off some of the other reviews, it appears that Amazon have been sending the incorrect item out to a number of people.
