Great price, sturdy and very functional
The price was great for a pair of these clamps...I already own some and was looking to get a couple more. my local hardware didn't have them in stock and (generally they are about 39.00 each) I decided to look on Amazon. Wow, getting two for less than the price of one was a bargain. I like the hold of these, the quality is great and for my needs as a woodworker they do the job. The mechanism takes a bit of getting used to but once you get used to how they work, I think you will appreciate having them in your clamp collection. Not workable one handed but I still like the holding power and the ability to clamp various thickness material to my bench or portable work table.

Easy to use.
Very sturdy clamps that hold a serious compression of the jaws.

Great Secondary Clamps
I got these to help expand my woodworking clamp collection after seeing these in the local blue hardware store, and thought they were awesome. In actual use, they are very good at specific things, like holding flat boards to a table, or holding down a straight edge. However, these are not necessarily a 1 handed operation. I found that I needed to use 2 hands to put tension on the bar before ratcheting the clamp down. If not, the clamp would end up loose and not hold. Once you get it right through, man these can clamp down hard!Overall, they are a great secondary clamp or primary if you have the ability to use multiple hands to secure. Otherwise, your standard squeeze or f style clamps would be a better first buy.

Great Clamps even though I'm using them in an Unconventional way
So I take my dogs for rides quite often in the backseat area of my Ram 1500 Crew Cab pickup truck. One of the features of this truck is that the back seats fold up and there is a platform that folds down so it becomes a flat surface across the entire back seat area. However, I found over time that the platform doesn't hold up well to the 2 to 3 dogs running around so I custom fit a 1" thick piece of foam on top of the platform then place a folded up comforter on top of that. I then use the clamps to hold the corners secure so it stands up to the dogs running around. It is also very comfortable for them to sleep back there. These Clamps allow you to snug up hand tight then close the rachet to snug up further. They are perfect for what I was looking for. I initially used C-Clamps but they weren't as convenient or easy as these. Down the road, I'm sure I'll purchase more of these for woodworking type projects.

Metal, strong, adjust quickly, durable
I like these Jorgensen "ratchet clamps" They are a metal, not a plastic clamp that is amazingly strong. They adjust quickly and powerfully. They have a more power than the plastic "quick clamps" and can really put some pressure on if the need arises. The "ratchet" part has a lot of "travel" to it that I find is not necessary most of the time, but it's there if you need it. The rubber cover on the clamp ends actually stays on. A good value and well built.

I love these clamps
I have used similar clamps before and I have looked into getting some. Only the brands I found were.....meh. Jorgensen is a high quality clamp brand so I was really glad these came available. I have many of their F type clamps for bending stair parts. Work smoothly even after getting rusty.I use these as part of building boxed beams. I included a couple of pictures of the project I was using them on. It's needed to clamp the sides of the beams together to get miters to line up. There's A Lot of controlled clamping pressure with these. There are other uses of course, like quickly clamping material down on a work table. But I will primarily be using them for beams and couldn't be happier with quality.

Good and can get a strong grip but...hard to clamp and releases too easy
Got these clamps because the "squeeze grip to tighten" ones don't always grip as hard as I need them to and their pads often slide out. These can clamp down tight; perfect for solidly holding an item while sanding without slippage or marring. With that said, the problems I did have with them include:- They are not easy to operate one-handed;- They can release very easily especially if they are not aligned perfectly;- Very hard to align and grip tightly if operating with one-hand.All in all, they do the job they are designed to do. I like that they can grip tightly but I find them more frustrating to use. Given the option, I would not buy them again.

A Better Mouse Trap--uh C-Clamp
These clamps are very easy to use and much lighter than ordinary C-clamps of a similar size. The rubber pads are great since they eliminate the need for additional pads between the clamp and the finished surface of your project. Also they slide easily to open for your workpiece and then close on your workpiece just as easy. One or two squeezes on the handle are all that is needed to securely clamp your work. Also, the 3" throat is deeper than my similar sized clamps. Only my 8" clamp is deeper. One really nice feature is conventional C-clamps will sometimes try to twist the workpiece out of position as you screw the clamp down. Obviously, these clamps don't do that at all.
