Love it!
The Presto 07062-22-Inch Ceramic Electric Griddle is fantastic! I've been using it for a week now, and it has quickly become a kitchen staple. The large 22-inch surface is perfect for cooking multiple items at once, making breakfast preparation a breeze. I love the ceramic non-stick surface; it cooks evenly and cleans up effortlessly. The removable handles make it easy to store, even in smaller kitchen spaces. Overall, this griddle is incredibly durable, functional, and a great addition to any kitchen. Highly recommend!

You'll love this griddle so much you'll find reasons to use it!
If you're doing grilled sandwiches, french toast, bacon, omelettes, burgers, etc, in a frying pan, you're missing out. This griddle is so good at all of that. Does a great job heating and cooking evenly across the surface, which is ample (I do 8 slices of French toast at one time). The thermostat control is reliably accurate. A far more energy efficient way of doing this kind of cooking, if your carbon footprint is a concern. The cook surface is ceramic and is truly non- stick. You'll have to use non-metallic cooking utensils to protect the surface, so be sure to plan ahead for that. I went with a Farberware Professional Nylon Spatula set and Tongs.Farberware Professional Stainless Steel Locking Tongs, 11-Inch, Blackhttps://a.co/d/b1foHivCleaning is a breeze. The single press clips on the removable legs are a fantastic idea both for cleaning and storage. When it's time to store it, it's 1.5" at its thickest point. If you follow the temperature guidelines, the heating element will not destroy the appearance of the surface. I have used mine at least twice per week regularly since buying it a half year ago and the surface is still relatively pristine. With only a very slight discoloration.I can't recommend this griddle highly enough!

Best griddle we've ever had
We have owned a number of electric griddles over the years. They've all had hot spots, and the nonstick finish never held up, even though I always handwash them with gentle scrubbers. My husband does most of the cooking, and he uses the griddle for all sorts of things, including eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage, and hash browns. So he gets to see how they perform under a variety of heat conditions, and with different requirements for oil lubrication of the griddle's surface. We have been happy with our ceramic pots and pans, so when it came time to replace our griddle, I looked at the ceramic options, and found that the best reviewed ceramic griddle at the time was the Presto 07062 Ceramic 22-inch Electric Griddle with removable handles. It also happens to have a great price. So I bought it.My husband has used this griddle a lot for the past two months, and every time he uses it, he comments on how much better it is than any griddle we've ever had. It is true that there is a visible mark on the top of the griddle where the heating ring runs around the underneath — it's kind of a loss of the ceramic sheen, not really a discoloration. It does not affect the cooking at all; it will just never look new-out-of-the-box again. So we don't care about that. There is a very distinct diamond pattern texture to the entire surface. I wondered whether this would catch particles and bake them into a hard crust that would be difficult to clean, but that fear was entirely unfounded. This griddle cleans up so easily! See the photo with this review. It shows both the diamond pattern and the only two scrubbers I ever use to clean the griddle — a plastic scrubbing ball and a nail brush (for fingernails). After sudsing off the surface of the griddle with the scrubbing ball, I give it a light rinse and then use some of the leftover suds to run diagonally across the griddle in both directions with the nail brush. This gets anything out in the low places of the diamond texture. It is really very quick, and quite effective. I never have to use elbow grease. Even tough, cooked-on food comes off easily.MOST IMPORTANT: Do not EVER use nonstick spray with ceramic surfaces! It can't withstand the heat, and becomes a super sticky residue that is nearly impossible to get off. We discovered this with our regular ceramic-coated pots and pans. On ceramic surfaces, only use high temperature oils — we usually use butter on the griddle. This griddle doesn't need any oil at all on pancakes (or, obviously, bacon & sausage); for eggs, we use just a tad of butter and smear it onto the part of the griddle that we will be using for the eggs. And finally, we have found the drip tray to be more than large enough to hold all the grease that flows from six slices of bacon.I would definitely recommend this griddle with no hesitation.

Great griddle, but non-stick could be improved
I have used presto griddles for a couple decades, having 2 over that time. Eventually after regular use over 5-7 years of my last one the non-stick started to be less where I needed to use cooking spray for things like pancakes let alone eggs that stick more.So I looked for a new one and found this. There is a lot to like about it, namely its slim. But the non-stick is not exactly what I hoped it to be. It works well for most things, even sometimes eggs without spray, but the texture on the surface that they call a feature (perhaps for even heating) is more of a pain when it comes to sticking. Food gets in it and the griddle becomes less effective as non-stick because the next round of pancakes, for example, stick to the food in the textured surface not the actual surface. This does wipe clean very easily after cooking, but who wants to do that in-between cooking? The eggs are the worst with them easily flipping once, but the back side of the egg sticks to the left over deposits in the texture. In defense of presto, perhaps I run this a little warmer than I could, but my last griddle did not do this until years of use. Likewise, I bought the regular non-stick version of this griddle prior to this ceramic version and it had the same textured surface and was worse to use. This is still a nice griddle and cooks well, has removable legs and cooks evenly most of the time. I just wanted to share the non-stick performance as I was hoping for a little more with ceramic.
