Great daylong hold and tastes great too

Effergrip has a minty flavor like toothpaste. It’s not awful tasting but the problem is that everything you eat will also have that taste while you’re chewing it. The hold is pretty good but by nighttime, a lot of it has disintegrated. Dont think I’ll buy again. I don’t like all my food tasting minty.

I have really bad teeth form birth and by the age of 15 Had all of my real teeth removed and dentures put into place. I started usng denture adhesive within the first yer of wearing dentures. Poli-grip was the only thing available at that time. One day i needed to purchase a new tube of poli-grip and was a little short on cash that day. Effergrip was on the shelf next to it and was a few dollars cheaper. I said well I'll try this and i bought Effergrip. Effergrip held as good if not better and I haven't gone back to poli-grip since. The place I use to purchase Effergrip, Wal-Mart, stopped carrying the product. The closest store to me that still carried the product was 45 miles away. I found tht Amazon.com not only sold the product but was a cheaper purchase even with the shipping cost. It was also more convenient now since I have become handicapped and require a wheelchair when shopping. I can purchase the quantity i need and have it delivered right o my door.

This is the third “popular” brand I have tried.The others are about the same. One may be thicker, one may hold a little stronger- but the premise is the same. It works like glue. It goes on. It gets hard and adheres. It dissolves off.THIS STUFF IS TERRIBLE. So bad.It stays sticky and tacky all day long. Never hardens. Makes it weird to wear because you are constantly adjusting. Constantly.It has a mint flavor that at first I thought was refreshing- but that stays all day too. It feels like you have tooth paste in your mouth all day. All day.Because it’s a sticky gue all day long it’s almost impossible to get off at the end of the day. It gets stuck in the bristles of the tooth brush. I had to resort to taking a bath towel to get it off.It did last all day. That was the one redeeming quality. The holding power was good once you got past the constant adjustments.Just never again.

Mama likes it. Bad teeth, way too much sugar: fake teeth. Tried many brands before, the so called brand names, mama no like. Bought this one on a whim, like in "what do I have to loose besides the moola at this stage"? Mama loved it. Suddenly I am dancing around the house, sending love letters to total strangers, asking forgiveness for my indiscretions (too many to count) because the alternative is around $15,000 for a total replacement or if the cheap way, around $8,000. Suddenly she is using her teeth, they are staying put and when I ask, "how you like it, Mama"? She says better, much better.Hoping it was not a flash in the pan and instead a long term option, for now I bow to the makers of Effergrip and with the new price recently much lower I see no reason why I shouldn't buy a few, but not too many for it might wear off and mama may say to me: Me no like it anymore! But I am sure we will cross that bridge when the moment comes and certainly not before, because we like it right like it is. 4.5 Stars!

This Effergrip Denture Adhesive Cream is what I was looking for. I wanted an adhesive that would hold well but not so well that my dentures were hard to remove. I also wanted the adhesive to have a fair price, and didn't have a nasty taste. This adhesive gives me all three-a comfortable hold, a fair price, and doesn't taste awful.
