Best wire I've used.
I'm a sparky and love my electronics. Especially car equipment. This, by far, is the best wire to use for larger stereo speakers. OFC or Oxygen Free Copper is very expensive. GearIT makes it less expensive but doesn't bring the quality down. I've used these wires in 18 gauge, 14 gauge and now 12 gauge. They hold a lot of voltage and will keep your music crystal clear! Definitely one of the best buys I've made here. 20 of 5. I would buy over and over, if needed. Extremely durable.

Outstanding.
First time I've made my own cables. Sound is just as good as with the expensive premade ones. Great price for OFC pure copper.

True 100% Copper
This cable was a bit stiff but its being used in a new club install so that wasn't a huge factor. The cable is definitely 12AWG and excellent quality. I bought two reels and had to run several speaker clusters as well as all monitor runs and the cable was excellent. The system fired up and everything sounded marvelous, no perceivable loss even on the 50' runs. An excellent buy and would definitely recommend. Suggestion would be to run your line out on a driveway or parking lot on a warn/hot sunny day and let the cable get more pliable.

Probably what you want for critical sound applications
Oxygen free copper stranded copper wire is what you want for speaker wire and this is it! Copper is getting very expensive, but for long term use, it is worth it. Copper coated aluminum is getting popular because it is cheaper. But copper and aluminum expand at different rates and eventually the copper will flake off like paint often flakes off plastic. So for something that is going to be reusable and last for years and decades, you want oxygen free copper for speaker and signal wires. 14-gauge or 1/14 of an inch in diameter is thick enough that it would be very hard to beat professionally in sound quality with thicker, more expensive gauges, usually the best bang for your buck. I used to use 12-gauge, but the cost is so much higher and sound improvement is so hard to tell in side by side testing that I am now sold on 14-gauge. This is my choice and the black color casing hides the red and black wires quite well and can also be used inside of walls or buried in the ground outdoors. My speakers are black and so are the speaker stands so an uncovered black wire shows less than other colors.

Awesome cable.
This is some awesome cable. Full copper, thick but pliable outer jacket and the single pair insulation is almost comparable to MTW. My only criticism, is the linear foot increments printed on the outer jacket starts at 100 feet. Like many other wire mfrs, typically the tag end starts at 1’. Doesn’t bother me as I’m going to pull what I need regardless plus some, but for some it may be useful to have your spools start at 1’. Im only sending 30w RMS through this 14-2 down a 70’ run between active outdoor speakers without a hiccup. I would recommend their product to everyone. Worth the little extra cost for sure.

Good choice for outside use
I used this wire to install speakers at our boat dock. It has a thick outer black insulation in addition to the insulation around the two 14 gauge conductors. That helps to protect the wiring from weather (varmints) and makes a cleaner install. Speaker wire has a lot to do with the performance of the speakers themselves. So if you intend on buying a nice set of speakers you'll want to connect them to your receiver with quality conductors.
