Great Upgrade
I recently bought a used Jeep TJ (2005). The vehicle is great overall but I was very disappointed by the headlights. They were very dim and yellow. I was thinking that I was just used to the newer HID bulbs and that is how the old lights are.I took a chance on these after reading some reviews. I wouldn't say these are as bright or white as a new vehicle with HID's, but it is a night and day difference over the stock headlights. Light color is a fairly bright white and it does a much better job of lighting up the road that the stock bulbs. I am very happy with the light these new headlights produce.Installation was easy and took about 15 minutes. The only tool you will need is a Torx T15 driver. This directly replace the stock headlights. No modifications are needed and they plug right into stock headlight harnesses. They are same wattage as stock so no relays or new wires needed either. Basically you remove the trim ring, unscrew the old headlights, pop the new ones in and replace the trim ring.Aiming was easy as well as there are headlight adjustment screws to aim up/down and left/right. If you Google "jeep tj headlight aiming tips" you find a nice page that will show you a simple way to do it with a wall and some masking tape.

Need better quality
I like the light they were brighter than the original tj light, one thing I don't like about them is after the second year they started to get yellow, and after the third year they started to show thin cracks . They still work, and I had them for about 5 years, I look at them, and all I want to do is change them again, I with the material gets better so they could look nicer for many years, like the glass used to do.

Super simple upgrade creates great look and improved performance!
now these are an awesome upgrade to my 1998 Jeep TJ Wrangler. They really update the appearance of the front, and the light is whiter and brighter than the old headlights. The KC logos are pretty cool on the headlights, anyone looking at the front end of your vehicle will notice that the headlights look super cool compared to stock. Easy to install, 'plug and play' just remove the outer ring (three screws), remove inner retaining ring (four screws) (all Torx screws same size) then pull out headlight, easily pull plug, plug in new ones and reverse process. Then you have a whole updated looking front end! Combined with my Hella fog bumper mounted fog lights, they all look awesome together. For a simple upgrade this is a great product. I also replaced the taillight lens covers (you will have to search that up), and that also makes a nice huge difference over the faded old stock ones. I try to make select upgrades that keep the basic look similar but modernize the look of my jeep.

KC plastic headlights......
I'm not sure why the new owners of KC decided to make lenses out of plastic instead of glass, but its a step in the wrong direction. The lights mounted easily, and look great for now. There is a small marker light housing in the bottom, with the KC logo in it. The hole to insert a lamp is sealed though, with some sort of black plastic. If you open this hole up, you can mount a small marker light bulb, and illuminate it.The lights are somewhat brighter than stock, but not by much. The lenses do create a distinct cut-off pattern, lessening the amount of light that would blind oncoming drivers. Brighter lamps might help, or they might melt the plastic lenses and housings , who knows.I do know these should have glass lenses in them. Shame on KC for cheapening thir product line with plastic lights. I feel a decent set of LED headlights will be brighter than these. Time will tell I guess, and I'll update the review, when the lenses cloud and yellow, making them useless.

Much brighter than the stock lights!
Despite the mixed reviews I read on here about the brightness of these non-LED headlights, I decided to try them knowing I could send them back for a refund if my expectations weren’t met. I really liked the fact that the bulbs were replaceable without needing to replace the entire headlight, they were very simple to install and they are MUCH brighter than the stock headlamps that came with my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. They also generate heat when used so the headlights won’t ice up in inclement weather (LED bulbs do not generate heat and are prone to ice buildup). When aimed correctly, the low beams provide a wide illumination and is not blinding or annoying to oncoming traffic, and the high beams really light up the road and enable you to see what’s ahead for several hundred feet. They are not as bright as some of the LED solutions you will find, but I feel they are totally sufficient for urban driving with and without streetlights. In the end my expectations were fully met and I do recommend them to anyone looking for a brighter headlight for their Jeep without going the LED route.

These are the best deal for a H4 Jeep headlight!
I spent less and got the Rampage lights first which burnt out the cheap bulbs and cracked a lens. I bought these KC lights as a replacement and they have been great. They were a cinch to hook up and fit perfect in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. They shine brightly and come with high quality bulbs. The lexan lenses look great and should prove to be pretty durable. I also like the way the KC logo is embedded in the bottom of the lens - it's a nice touch. Spend the extra money on these for a simple and much needed upgrade to your Jeep or other vehicle that takes a round 7" headlight! Shipping was also quick and I got them in 2 days with my prime membership.

A great improvement!
These lights make a huge difference over the regular halogen bulbs. as easy as changing headlamp bulbs to install. They aim well, have a defined cut off on dim, and don't blind oncoming traffic like LED lights do. As a plus the heat generated will help keep slush off in the winter. KC Lights, have been around and make pretty good lights.
