ASS SAVERS Unisex Asr-1-blk bicycle fenders, Black, Regular UK

Have used this for three rides last week and it was wet and nasty each time. Heading out in my usual cycling clobber I immediately noticed the lack of that familiar wet patch up my lower back and bum. The ass saver really makes a difference and I am clean and dry even after loads of spray from wet roads.Fitting was a doddle even over a small saddle bag. The bending instructions were a bit complicated for my little brain but the web link carefully printed on the ass saver itself had a nice little video link that made it straightforward enough.I'm over the moon with it: it's such a simple, light and effective bit of kit.

I like this and if you accept it for what it is then I think it performs fine. It's not a close fitting mudguard designed to try and keep you dry; it's a bit of protection for your back on a rainy day when you perhaps weren't expecting it to rain. If you're decked out in cycle gear and plan to get changed then it'll help avoid the big dirty smear up your back but if you're wearing your suit and planning to keep dry it is not for you.It's easy to mount with a few light folds and a clip and it fits my Bontrager saddle well. I have kicked it a few times swinging my leg over and it's shown no danger of coming off. I thought it might be something to sling in the bag and put on for rainy days but it's unobtrusive and easier to just leave it on, plus I'd worry about the plastic eventually tearing if frequently bent. I have used it on a couple of fairly rainy days and it definitely cut down the amount of water going up my back. It's surprising as I am a tall rider and there's a long way between the wheel and this.I've dropped it a star because the instructions to fit it could be a bit clearer and because it's OK at a bit of mudguarding but not brilliant; accept that it's cheap and not for extreme weather and it's fine.

Easy to install and inexpensive option for a rear Fender. Sits neatly under the saddle and can easily be removed. It doesn't completely protect from mud and water (for MTB), but it protects a good majority off the back and bum.

Unable to fit this, nothing special with my saddle, however it just does not fit. The piece that clips under the saddle is not long enough -

When it fits you saddle it's great. But with some it will twist to the side, so the other one is not protected. It's rigid and stays in place, so when it's where you want it to be, it's great.

If you want to stay fully dry then get proper fitted mudguards, but if you’re just popping put after some lighter rain then this does just fine! I love it - I can’t fit proper mudguards and I also just don’t want them cluttering my bike, and I don’t mind getting wet really so this is perfect because it stops the worst of the rain being soaked into your bib tights padding!

This works well as long as the rain is not too heavy.
