Much to like, but one glaring flaw.
The item shipped in excellent condition with no damage to parts or finish. But the directions to complete the rigging need to be improved. They were not clear as to what goes where. A sequence of how to do the rigging, such as 'do this first, this second, this third.... would also be very helpful. All that said, once complete it looks really good at a casual glance. But I was not expecting scale model accuracy either.

would never buy this again. a lot of money for a boat that comes in a box with pieces. no picture.

My Dad really loved this, even though I bought it just for display. I used the instructions to get it right. Easy to assemble, very good detail. I assemble models of things myself so it wasn't hard.
