Does this play off my original car speakers if i connect to my radio

Yes if you can connect your phone to your car audio by Bluetooth. As far as I can tell your phone will connect to the screen and your car’s audio. It seems to work very well. I have a 2014 Ford Focus and use Apple CarPlay

Does this device read iMessages and WhatsApp messages to you and allow you to reply orally? Thank you

Not sure about iMessage but whatsapp does

Can a DAB module be added to this device?

I don’t know. Before this device I would listen to my DAB radio, but now I use the apps to listen to the channels.
