This product has been around for many a year and the update works as well as the original which we still using.

I bought this calculator to replace my previous Canon which was a bubble jet and had lasted for many years of heavy use. I am however a bit disappointed in this new one. It is noisy and clattery to use because it has ink ribbons rather than an ink cartridge. Also it seems odd that it comes with a 2 pin rather than three pin plug which means an adapter is required. Also the electric cord is not as long as I would prefer. Altogether it seems like a machine from 30 years ago.I now rather wish I had researched the market before purchasing it. Having said this, it seems to work well and is a fast printer.
