Highly pigmented marker lip stain!
I am a big fan of lip products. My newest obsession for the past almost the year is finding the best lip stains that will last, but not dry out my lips. As you can see, I have a few of these and I have more in the other room because you get the best value for your money with these. They’re highly pigmented. The quality is amazing! Some of these I’ve had for 8 months and the the ink stain is the same as the day I bought it. You need to block or whatever you want to do quickly because it does dry very fast. I like using these on my entire lip, but some people use them just as lip liners alone. The colors match exactly to how they are described or shown in the swatches. These have long stay in power and will not be disturbed when eating or drinking. Amazing price compared to others that aren’t as good as this brand of lip stains. Many colors to choose from.

Use proper application!
I don’t know about other people, but I have great things to say about this product. When you use it correctly, the final lip color looks just as expected. Here’s how I did it:Use the flat part to first color in the inside of your lips. Then, use the tip of the marker to line them. Try to keep the marker at a downward angle to make sure the pigment comes out smoothly. Don’t rub your lips together. Leave on for 60 seconds, it WILL look darker than expected at this point! After it dries, blot with a paper towel to get excess off. After a couple minutes, the color turns out amazing! No smell and mild taste. It is a little drying, but since it stains well just put your favorite hydrating chapstick or lipgloss over it. Haven’t tried to wear it a full day yet, but it’s easy enough to apply.

Great lip stain, easy to apply!
Very pretty color! I love a good lip stain. Hoping they keep making these. They seem to last 6-8 hours or so.

Long lasting
I love this lip stain it last me my whole day which includes a lot of dancing and sweating for me but the stain stays it’s also doesn’t transfer at all a a testament to which my boyfriend can very happily make now that it doesn’t matter if I have lipstick on he can still kiss me lol the color is nice it does fade a little but after the original application but then it stays consistent till the end of the day

ONLY BRAND I'VE FOUND THAT REALLY DOES STAY ON.
OUTLAST IS RIGHT! Hard to remove once applied, which is good.I have tried 5 colors, ALL GO ON WAY TOO DARK but this doesn't matter because you put it on, let it dry, then remove most of it with makeup remover or cold cream and what is left stays and stays all day. the nib size is perfect for outlining then filling! The ones they call "Natural" are too brown really. They are a gloomy color on white women's lips, they may look better on black ladies. The best cool pink shade(once most is removed) is 20:ADMIRE.

Dried out quickly
It's ok. It dried out pretty quickly, despite being stored point down. I even cleaned the tip with micellar water in hopes it was just dirty, but no luck. The color was nice and the product performed pretty well. I just wish it had lasted longer.

Dry
I received it sealed, unlike most customers I’ve seen reviews of. I used it few times and it started to get dry so quickly. I can only cover part of my lips and it’s dry right away. Wish I could use it everyday because color is so pretty but it gets dry so quickly. It is so irritating. I could use some water to make it work like you do with dry markers, but then what’s the point of using such product if I have to add water to keep it wet.

I like the product/formula but Color is not what I expected
The media could not be loaded. Review is for Color: 20 AdmireLip stains are my favorite lip product these days, but I am particular about them. I don’t like the types that use a wand and then we dip it into liquid. Since Covergirl Outlast Lipstain is like a marker, I was excited for it. I like using this as my lip liner since it goes well with PH lipsticks by Magic Kiss and MoodMatcher. I don’t see myself using the CG lipstain alone since it’s semi drying and can be patchy. I only have one color so I don’t know if every shade is patchy. To be clear, the lipstain doesn’t cause my lips to be dry. It’s just not moisturizing the lips. Depending on the baseline of your natural lips the experience will be different for everyone. I think CG lipstains are best used with a gloss, topper, or another lipstick to fill in my lips. I apply the lipstain on dry, clean lips. I allow it to fully dry before applying something over it.It's a matte finish. However, nothing is transferproof on my lips including this product since I snack/eat often throughout the day. Transfer is minimal and it doesn’t get messy compared to traditional lipstick. It’s probably long lasting and smudge-proof if you fast. Pigmentation was good. Better than r.e.m. beauty’s lip stain marker. It has a light fruity smell. Almost cotton candy at times. Non-offensive. Not overpowering. I did not notice any bitter taste in my mouth. Made in the USA with imported parts. I really have no complaints about this product besides the color is wrong for me.I chose Admire (20) because I thought it was a lightish pinky mauve. Instead, it’s a dark mauve color like 90’s grunge. A plum shade. Keep in mind I am light-skinned with yellow undertone. It would look different on a deeper skin tone. The swatches/doodling I did on my hand looks lighter than on my lips. It was quite difficult to capture the color accurately in my photos. Hopefully my review is still helpful. I want to order more colors so I’ll update my review in the future. Would I recommend this lippie? It’s definitely not for everyone. It really depends on what you want out of it or expect from it. I have buck teeth and traditional (waxy/creamy) lipsticks always get stuck on my teeth so I find lipstains/PH lipsticks work the best for my type of mouth. My options are kind of limited.
