After a recent move, we now have our dryer next to our main living space and it is on tile floor. And it was so loud! You could feel the floor shaking in the next room over. We adjusted the feet of the dryer and made sure it wasn't bumping against anything and even checked to make sure the inside didn't get messed up from the move, but nothing helped. These pads did not make the dryer silent, but it did bring the noise level down significantly and you no longer feel the ground shake. They are really durable and heavy duty. They are rubbery and don't slip. As others have mentioned, they have an intense smell when you open the box, but we haven't noticed a smell since getting them in place.

These worked out nice for our machines on the upper levels. We needed 2 people to install them but have liked them once installed. I would buy again.

Bought these to do two things: to stabilize my washer (cut down movement, vibration and noise) and to protect my newly installed laundry room floors. I will say they have cut down some on movement (my older top-loading washer does not travel as far with these feet). My washer used to push my dryer into the wall it traveled so much, but it did that rather quietly. That is NOT the case now. I swear the noise level seems to be much HIGHER than before (it’s like all the vibration and movement just echoes in place). We cannot watch tv two rooms away without turning up the volume at least 5-8 notches when the washer is going, so I just don’t wash clothes if we are trying to relax with tv. The one goal that seems to be working - though I’m not sure how - is that it does not seem to be tearing holes in the floor. I’m keeping an eye on that and will remove the feet if necessary, but the feet were a real pain to put on (especially on the back legs) because they don’t slide into place (not supposed to). Hence you need 2 people to install - one strong enough to hold washer up and one with long enough arms to reach back to place feet in just the right spots so the washer can be lowered down perfectly on the feet. It’s a trial and error (more than one try unless you get really lucky) process. Would I buy them again? No, but do I want to crawl back undr the washer to remove them? No. They work fine under the dryer, but it did not travel nor was it noisy to begin with. I just wanted both appliances the same height and the floors protected, so we put the feet under both.

Our washing machine is in our basement which has uneven floors. Raising the washing machine up about an inch with this product made it possible to properly level our washing machine making it significantly more quiet and has prevented it from moving as well. Yes, our washing machine used to move so much that one time it knocked over our bottle of bleach and laundry detergent on the floor making a huge mess. This product is durable and prevents all of the unnecessary shaking that can happen when your washing machine is in motion. If your washing components have ever fell off your washing machine or your washing machine moves when in use this product works perfectly to prevent that from happening and is designed for you!
