Works well but takes up a lot of space
I ordered this heated dryer because it was a great price and we needed something to help our clothes dry during the winter without having to leave the central heating on for prolonged periods of time.ProsIt works effectively and heats up quickly. It was ready to be used straight out of the box with no set up needed. Its straight forward to fold up.ConsThere’s no automatic switch off or timer so it’s very easy to leave on overnight/forget about. It also takes up quite a lot of space and looking back I wish I had purchased a tall heated dryer that takes up less floor space.

Quite pleased with it.
It does need a cover over it to keep the heat in but I just put an sheet over it. Helps washing dry quicker. It's not fast drying, but it's cheap to run.It folds up easier than I was expecting from other reviews.I haven't had any condensation in the room I use it in. But it does make the room feel cozy.I'm pleased with mine. It has a warranty and Amazon are good at keeping to that.

Poor construction
Have used this airer a couple of times and it works well. The structure seems very fragile and thin . It is steady enough when it is up and loaded but I find it very difficult to actually open the thing. I have to lay it flat on the floor and then slowly force the legs apart. So for foldability i give Nil.

The heating is garbage
I bought this when I first moved into my flat as I don't have a balcony or many options to dry my clothes. The frame is good but the heating component is absolutely useless. The bars heat up when connected but it only dries whats on the bar and nothing else. I left this thing on over night to dry some clothes and they were still wet on the other areas. I still use this but mostly to air dry cloths and towels but I never use the heating function. This makes me think that many similar dryers operate the same way and have the same problems. You can fold this up and it is light weight. I have the cord tie wrapped on itself so it doesn't get in the way but I've considered just cutting it off altogether.

Perfect for drying
First of all lower your crazy high expectations. If you're someone who hasn't had one and is expecting the power of the sun. Then. Nope. And it's not as quick as a tumble dryer. That said I believe it's tones cheaper to run. And I can clear a whole clothes airer in a day presuming they're not too wet. If soaking it will take a day+. But for the ones who just want to help dry off there clothes abit quicker at a cost.Keep in mind energy is 12p-34p a day to run this and it adds up quickly. Also a note I find if you wrap one clothes item around it top and bottom you Maximise heat exposure. Plus cover in a second item it gets super toasty and drys the first item quicker while also getting a second.Another boring tip is put lots of underwear on the wings and tent them in a t shirt. All gets dryer quicker especially the underwear / small items.

Works well
Happy does the job would of given it 5 stars but looks like it's not cost effective on the electricity. Saw some reviews that's its kind on the meter but that could of been old reviews with going up meter on orange and meter ticking away having said that works well

Cost effective
This is great piece of equipment to either dry your clothes from scratch or as a "finish off" or airier for your clothes. Be careful not to place a heavy washing basket on top, as the frame is light and would not support the weight. It is meant for clothes to hang on and not to have stuff dumped on top of! Also when assembling the legs slide apart for it to stand and can sometimes be a little stiff so treat it gently and all will be well. I would recommend. It also keeps your room warm too, needing less central heating on !
