My favorite cloth diapers!
I tried other brands that have a polyester lining on the inside and even when I put a different inserts they still leaked. Charlie Banana is soft and not polyester, and I never have leaks. I’ve been using them for about two months and even with multiple weekly washes they are holding up great. I do not dry them in the dryer, I bought what would probably a sock drying hanging rack and I hang all the inners and outers. I think it will help longevity. One thing I also noticed is the other inserts for different brands would stain and I couldn’t get the stains out, I can always get the Charlie banana inserts sparkling clean. They are on the pricier end but there’s a reason for it - they know what they’re doing!

They have a hemp insert option too!!!
At first I wasn't a fan of these diapers. We were living in Hawaii and the material kept our little one too warm and the insert that came with it didn't absorb enough. However, I really liked that it had adjustable elastic for the legs which made them less bulky then many other brands that use the snaps for multiple sizes. Today I love Charlie Banana cloth diapering system especially since they have a hemp blend insert for those heavy wetters (which my daughter is). I ended up purchasing a bundle from the Charlie Banana website where I was also able to get the hemp inserts. (At the time I couldn't find them on Amazon to ship to Hawaii.) Usually we use this diaper at night because with the hemp insert she sleeps all night without wetting through. Love that!!!Washing them is easier then many all in one styles since the insert can be dried in the dryer if needed while the shell is hung to dry. This helps the shell last longer and the diaper dry faster.

Soft but adjuster is annoying
The are soft and my baby loves these but the leg adjuster thing is annoying. Even when I do get it perfectly adjusted, which is hard to do, feel it poking up.

favorite cloth diaper so far - definitely the softest and seemed to hold the most too.

Very nice and thick
We cloth diaper nearly full-time, and this was my first time using a diaper from Charlie Banana. The company has a strong eco-friendly focus, which I really appreciate. We've used the CB diapers now for a couple months to get a good feel for them. The diaper has several characteristics that set it apart:- The diaper has a front-loading pocket, eliminating the step of tucking the liner the back to prevent leaks.- The inserts are very thick compared to classic microfiber inserts. The serged borders of the liners really like to curl up all around after washing, which is annoying, but it smooths out easily with my hands. The absorbency is excellent. Because these are thicker liners, overall the diaper has a "fluffier" look. They're also much warmer feeling when they fill up. Maybe not the best summer diapers.- The rise is done with adjustable elastic instead of snaps. This gives you total freedom in setting the perfect rise for your baby, which is incredible. It is a bit difficult to adjust the rise, but that means it doesn't slip easily. And adjusting the rise is done infrequently anyway. The downside is that there is a lumpiness in the front when the rise is tightened, because there's natural folding that you get with snaps. The totally custom rise far out ways the appearance of lumps.- Both the diaper and the inserts have gigantic blue tags on them, and the blue is visible through lighter colored fabric. It shouldn't be a big deal, but it's surprising how annoying those tags are when stuffing diapers. I might have to cut them off. I would rather have a card with instructions instead of ginormous tags.Overall, these are very high quality diapers, and I'm happy to have them in my collection. That being said, are these diapers worth the cost of 4-6 cheaper diapers? Honestly, not to me. The quality is fantastic, but I've found a larger number of lower-budget diapers to be a more practical investment.

Less-bulky cloth diaper for tiny newborns!
I planned to cloth diaper my baby right from the start and ordered a variety of pocket cloth diapers - the one-size adjustable ones with a whole mess of snaps - and even adjusted as small as they would go they were comically large and bulky on my 7-lb newborn!Enter this Charlie Banana newborn-size cloth diaper! Charlie Banana is one of the brands that was recommended to me by another local cloth-diapering mama, they're fantastic quality, and this one is perfectly sized for the first few months. My little one is now 11 weeks old and topping out his growth percentiles and we're on the second-to-last snap, so we should get another month or so out of this size. I ordered the "Sage" color and it's exactly like the pictures - and a great neutral that I can hold onto for future babies. This newborn size does NOT have the adjustable leg elastics like the 0-36 month one-size ones do, but it's otherwise the Charlie Banana quality you'd expect - just a bit smaller.

Hold for long but it’s not cotton
I love how they look and really like the fact that they didn’t leak for almost 6 hrs. However, they are not cotton and might not be the most ideal organic fabric.

Very high quality adjustable cloth diaper
As someone who has been cloth diapering for almost 5 years, I am really impressed with this diaper. Both the cloth diaper and insert are made very well and out of high quality materials. The diaper is really adjustable, so it can fit both babies and toddlers. The insert is thick and absorbent, though if you have a heavy wetter, you might need to add a booster to prevent any leaks. The diaper and insert are easy to wash, I just remove the insert from the diaper, then add them both in to my washer and wash with the rest of the cloth diapers that I already have and do my normal diaper washing routine. I typically line dry most of the way then finish them off in the dryer on low until they are completely dry. I am very pleased with this diaper, the color is really pretty, the materials are great, and they fit my daughter well. I would definitely recommend these diapers to anyone interested in cloth diapering their children.
