can I buy a replacement battery? What is the battery model number?

The rechargeable battery in mine went dead in less than a year and will not take a charge. I'm in the process of trying to find a new battery but to no avail.

Is it a 18650 battery?

Yes. The rechargeable battery that came with it failed after less than a year and very little use. I have ordeded another battery. Hope it works better than the one that came with the light.

Will this work to scare buzzards?

I’m not sure about scaring buzzards, but I use it to drive my cat “Hannibal” CRAZY!! Be careful NOT to shine it in the eyes of any animal or person! I hope this helps!
