I "juggled" with some other garbage organization that sent me TWO of these, that were both missing the tiny white "female" input piece to accept the battery cable.I finally ordered this, which was a bit more expensive, but it came fully loaded with EVERYTHING I NEEDED! THANK YOU!

Update 2024: Battery bloated after working perfectly fine for 3 years. This is also what happened to the battery the laptop came with. It's just a faulty design. Totally worth paying around $50 to get another 3 years out of a perfectly good laptop though.Yeah it works on my HP laptop. Fit in just fine. Hasn't bloated yet and charges just fine.

I purchased this item and at first it worked fine, then over the course of 3 months lost its ability to hold a charge until finally it wouldn't hold a charge at all.I contacted the seller who was fantastic and promptly replaced the item. Sometimes a product unexpectedly fails, but the customer service was amazing and the seller made everything right!

I followed the install instructions and initial charge sequence. The next night, I left my laptop unplugged and in sleep mode. The battery drained from 100% to zero overnight. If I try to use my laptop unplugged, it barely lasts an hour running games, and less than two under less strenuous conditions.

Was a perfect fit, but I did do my research to make sure I was getting the right one. Can't say how long it lasts because the wife uses the laptop for photography editing, and when the charger isn't plugged in, Windows in all its idiocy (and with no way to avoid it) sits there constantly changing the brightness and color balance on the screen to accommodate changes in room lighting that the laptop perceives (erroneously) are happening, so she has to leave it plugged in constantly while working. Since that's the only time it's ever used, it never really discharges. But, at least it takes a charge now. The old battery definitely had a swollen cell, so for the price, we've gotten good use out of it.

The battery holds power and charges as per normal operating condition

It was my first time opening up my laptop, and the replacing of the battery itself was easy! I had trouble getting the original out and fiddling with the laptop (I accidentally flipped a little switch and didn't know what I did for a while), but this battery was very easy to put in and I know it won't give me trouble in the future!
