Pretty much like new.
I bought the 15 inch version of this laptop(the M4800) a few months back. I believe from these same guys. Just like that laptop, when I took this one out of the box, I was amazed by the condition it was in. It truly looked like a brand new laptop. I saw no blemishes, scuffs or anything. Everything was nice and clean. I took it out of the box and booted it up. It immediately went on to kick off the Windows 10 Pro install and I was up and running in minutes. To my surprise, the boot drive was actually an SSD; there was also a 1TB mechanical secondary drive. I immediately opened it up and replaced the secondary mechanical with a 2TB SSD(a Samsung 860 QVO); now the entire system is all SSD and nice and snappy. By the way, upgrading components is quite easy; once the bottom panel is removed, everything is exposed. My next upgrade is maxing out the RAM(it comes with 16GB, and I'm gonna get it to 32GB). Down the road, I may upgrade the WiFi card from N to AC. . .maybe.Even though the M6800 came out in Fall 2013, the hardware in this thing has plenty of grunt for everyday use, video and photo editing, coding etc and will be for years to come. Hardware nowadays is so fast, that you can hang onto the same machine a lot longer.Oh, and this thing is not thin and light. It's a 17 inch workstation class laptop with a thick, sturdy magnesium alloy body that can handle dual batteries(it comes with one). This is a step above what you would get from a standard consumer grade laptop; it's built to last. The keyboard is amazing as well. This is a lot of computer for the price.

Great computer
I love the display and how fast this computer works. An additional benefit is the "calc" button, which brings up the calculator. I don't have to put a shortcut on my taskbar for the calculator.I love Dell computers. They last.

Refurbished and still runs like a charm
This laptop is perfect for the apps I use which my Mac just can't support. So glad I bought this!

Underpowered and unwieldy, now unusable.
The fact that this laptop is blocky, heavy, and cannot fit in my laptop bag would be fine if it worked smoothly. Or, if it worked at all, because after giving it another try, it suddenly shut off and would not restart. Apparently, this specific line of Dell laptops has an issue with the sound driver for the speakers, but I don't know if it's typical for the laptop itself to be slow as hell right out of the gate and constantly unresponsive. It certainly doesn't seem like should brick itself, either. Mine did, and I'm returning it.

Very heavy!
I bought this old refurbished laptop because I wanted one with a DVD player so I could watch movies on it. However when I got it the DVD didn't work, still doesn't because I don't know how to install the drivers. So it just sits in my room not being used.I do really like the size, it has a big screen. Finally, one of the panels in not seated properly, see picture.Over all, if you know more about computers then I do you might like it. But you need to have a table for it, it is too heavy for your lap.

Very Courteous & Professional
I was very very impressed with how courteous and Professional Primetime Buys handled my transactions with them. I grew up in my Grandfathers camera shop and when a customer had a problem , he would hand them a new camera with no questions asked , when he closed I thought those days were gone until I did business with Primetime. I had a little problem with my order and when I called them up they corrected it, lightening fast, as good and equal to how my grandfather conducted his business for 69 years.I am now being filmed in a documentary movie of the research I am in and will be plugging them in that movie called "What is really the Truth". Prime Time Buys has earned my business from here on and I look very forward to doing business with them, as I know, from my first time experience with them ,that they are very honorable and deserve all I can do to help to promote them . Thank You again Prime Time Buys , your new permanent customer. Edd L. Edwards .

Dell M6800 - Nice Machine.... Seller not so much.. IT Supply Guy
This is the 2nd purchase of this machine...2 years ago bought a "Renewed" M4800...Was Very good!So I tried this bigger 17" version...It was Fair....Did not come with the proper recharger/power cord.. Had a rectangle plug but my port is Round!..Major Inconvenience!...After several tries to Seller, I decided to get the proper cord myself Online to save myself the aggravation....The machine was Clean, Good Looking and .....Runs Fairly well....The Windows 10 install and setup was NOT Seamless..A few Hickups but got it done after some confusion...Still a few bugs in the operating system..Ex..Does not "Restart"....Got a "fair price" on a 2nd hand 8 year old machine that would otherwise cost over $2000 for a Graphics/Video Editor Workstation...So I had to Pick My Battle and kept the machine!
