These mushrooms are very flavorful. Use in our stir fry's, Top Ramen noodles. I mix in hamburger when I make burgers taste great. I add to steaks when frying, great taste, don't need any other seasonings as the enoki mushrooms flavors the meat.I highly recommend. I wish I could large jar. Costco had these last year during the fall, I bought one jar, went back to get more and they were gone :(

This rice topping is absolutely delicious and only requires a small amount to make a dish. One downside is the price … if it was priced at $7-8 it would be some a staple in my household.

Very disappointed I was looking forward to trying it. The expiration date was for August 7, 2023.. it’s been expired for two months!!

This tastes so good and I love it but it’s way overpriced on Amazon ($18 for 8oz). I can get this for $6.50 for a 16.93oz jar at Costco in Hawaii.

This stuff is savory and imparts a nice, umami taste to a wide range of dishes. It works great as a topping or garnish on rice, tofu, omelettes, Asian pancakes, etc. The enoki mushrooms are cut into approx. 1/2" long strips and soaked in a savory, watery sauce. There are more mushrooms than sauce, which is great. I added a teaspoon of it over steamed rice, and it was savory. I also tried it with ramen. The mushrooms were tasty and chewy but the umami taste was diluted into the broth.This comes vacuum-sealed in a glass jar with a metal lid that "pops" when opened. Well-packed in a bubble bag for protection. The list of ingredients look pretty clean. No artificial stuff. Contains soybeans and fish (bonito) though. Product of Japan. Overall, I like this stuff a lot. Tasty and chewy enoki mushrooms strips in a savory sauce. Great as a topping or garnish to impart an umami taste to your food. It is worth giving it a try. A great condiment with a traditional taste of Japan.

This is an excellent product, but it was way too expensive. I thought I was getting the larger jar, and I knew it was almost double what I'd pay elsewhere (also online). I was willing to pay more for the larger jar, but for the small jar....well it was a huge rip-off!

I found that the Enoki Mushrooms With Seven Japanese Spices is a delicious accompaniment to rice or grilled meat. The glass bottle holds 8.4oz of this delightful topping. The enoki mushrooms are cut to small bite size pieces and mixed with Japanese spices including Shichimi spices (chili pepper, citrus peel, sesame, yuzu citrus, shiso, sansho pepper, ginger), dried bonito powder, kombu kelp powder, and shiitake mushroom powder. This combination balances salty, sweet, spicy, citrus, and umami. It was a delightful savory bite that complimented all of the food I added it to. I especially enjoyed it on just plain rice when I didn't want to cook but wanted something comforting and filling without being high in calories. A little amount adds a ton of flavor therefore making this bottle last longer than I originally thought. The product does require refrigeration after opening. The ingredients include enoki mushrooms, gluten-free soy sauce, water, beet sugar, mirin, salt, yeast extract, Shichimi Spices, lactic acid, citric acid, gluconic acid, dried bonito powder, agar, kombu kelp powder, yeast extract, Vitamin C, and shiitake mushroom powder. Please note that if you are allergic to soybeans, fish (bonito), and/or sesame, please be aware that they are included ingredients in this product. When it comes to price, it is noticeably higher than when purchased at an Asian supermarket. However, when buying from Amazon you are enjoying the convenience of the product being shipped directly to your home. The product I received has a best by date of 8 months from the date I received it. It is a Product of Japan. I really enjoyed this product and will definitely be buying it again.
