At first I thought the same thing about the red “beak.” But, you push it in for its mouth. It is cute

My wife's passion is marine biology and it was a great fun gift. She loves it!

While not the most scientifically accurate or high quality item, what do you expect out of a sub $20 stingray hat? It's cute. Also I have a 7 5/8" head and it fits pretty great. Go Rays!

The stingray came in with a big red beak on it and looked like a platypus

Too small for adult head and it was so contorted you couldn’t figure out what it was supposed to be. Returned.
