How much weight can you hook on it?

I don’t know the weight limit for this item, however, I regularly hang a 2kg bag on it. It seems quite a sturdy product.

Does it hang on bathroom stall doors?

It would hang on a bathroom stall door but I don’t think you’d be able to hang your purse/handbag from it. The hook is designed to be placed on the edge of a table or chair to allow a purse/handbag to hang underneath the table. If you tried to hang it on a bathroom stall door, the handbag couldn’t hang from the hook in the correct way because the stall door would be in the way. If you google ‘alessi handbag hook’ and go to images, you should find some images showing how the handbag hangs underneath the table/chair etc. Hope this is helpful & I think this is a great product!
