TV is really ok, issues with remote and battery usage
this arrived on 22.11.24, i am writing this on 1.2.25.The tv was fairly easy to set up, have your passwords to hand for the apps. Its very slimline, and more 'space saving' than my Sony Bravia which was old and bulky. It is not as responsive as the Sony, but for the money the fire tv is good value.Since November i have got through a pack of at least 10 batteries in the remote, i thought this cant be right.,i rarely changed batteries in other remotes.Yesterday i rung Amazon and explained, they put me through to their technical department , they agreed to send me another at NO COST. It arrived today , all set up , and will monitor battery use and update this review if needed [fyi remotes is currently selling on Amazon for £29.99]

Definitely worth all the money you spend on it
This television is amazing it functions perfectly with deep colours on the screen, Alexa works very well for amazing voice control, when moving the old television out of the way, as this lightweight television was being lifted I thought, wow that is surprisingly light the screen is amazing, and there was no damage at all, the value was INCREDIBLE and and no sluggish interface at all, setup was incredibly easy and efficient. No screen damage at all!

Good colour and sound. Connects easily. Does take moments. not minutes!, to sort out new sources,
Bear in mind that we are not hi-fi super techs, or hard to please, but just like good value and convenience, which includes having a nice clear image and clear sound on a neat, easy to carry television. It arrived unscathed despite minimal packing and small footprint (24" side and 9" depth) so fits on a smallish table. Its weight means that it does not have to be a large, solid unit to sit on. Very lightweight for us to move to the conservatory and back.Connected to our wifi easily and quickly. Step by step instructions on screen. Uses the WPS button on the router to connect. Also, we wanted our usual terrestrial stations along with our sports and movie apps etc.So, we connected it to our old Humax satellite dish (connected to the satellite cables), and very quickly had access to our usual freesat type station numbers (101 on) or by the Guide on the Amazon Fire TV with different station numbers starting from. 01.Sometimes seems to be, as others have said, to have a lot of contrast so dark images are harder to see. There is picture adjustment on the set, but we did not get a lot more relief from the contrast. Had this problem on our large expensive television too, and sometimes it is the filming as not all images are as badly affected as others.Crisp colour that looks pretty true though.Good for using the usual wifi Apps, any signed up to being displayed clearly, but for the convenience of this set, its general quality of image and sound that we both find clear and good, and the cost, we are happy. We bought the 32" size, easy to move out of direct sun (which is essential in a conservatory), and its remote is very neat and small. We have an EE television box which is minute compared to our largish freesat box and it fits underneath. All very compact! We have actually elevated the legs to allow the human box to be underneath and fits our separate CD, DVD player under too!! Great for a caravan or camper.

Excellent TV
Bought during the Prime sale at a decent £100 reduction so paid £149. It was bought for my son’s bedroom specifically to run over Wi-Fi only as we had no Co-ax socket for aerial use, however as the house has Giga fast broadband we have no issues with streaming multiple devices at once. We are already a Fire stick home with two others in service, so to get a TV built around the Fire service was a no-brainier for us.The original plan had been a smaller 24 inch TV with a separate Fire stick, but given the Prime offer is was a simple decision to go for a larger screen size with Fire built in as the operating system. Set up was therefore an absolute doddle for us, BUT!!!!! Beware if you are wall mounting. We purchased a bracket and trunking etc, however the M4 8mm VESA screws are not commonly supplied with brackets, certainly not the one we bought, and they are not the most commonly carried screw size in places such as Screwfix either: we came up with a temporary fix to get started and ordered some from Amazon, but given the small size needed for wall mounting it would have been preferable for this very cheap item to come in the box with the TV!Otherwise, excellent product; 720HD ready upscales beautifully through the various Apps we use on Fire such as iPlayer, Now etc so an absolute bargain. Very highly recommended.
