Can 1.5 v normal batt. Be replaced by 1.2 v rechargeables?

Yes, they work in most devices as a "regular" alkaline battery would. All rechargeable AA, AAA, C, D and 9v NiMh will work the same as regular alkaline batteries. I have over 100 rechargeable batteries, (half are in use, and half are charged up and stored, ready to swap out). I use rechargeable NiMh batteries in ALL my devices at work and home and never have to buy batteries. I use them in Flashlights, Remotes, Smoke alarms, RC Cars, Clocks, Meters, Radio, Etc. ALL my devices have rechargeable batteries ;-) I've tried a few other brands, and I like the "Bonai" batteries better. They seem to have a "lower" discharge rate and hold a charge longer sitting on the shelf. And I have never had a "Bonai" battery leak, like some other popular brands have. Where are these d cells made? are any rechargeable ds made in another country other than china??

I bought 8 of these bateries in November 2019 and after 2 charges they will not charge again. Its not the charger it works with other batteries

How to recharge? I see some Li MH Batteries comes with type c cable charging. Does this need battery charger?

Yes you will need to get a battery charger for Ni-MH (nickel metal hydride) batteries. Be sure it can charge D cell batteries. I bought one that charges AA. AAA, C and D batteries. Also be sure the charger has the charging cable (most do) and the electrical plug in adapter ( which many don't include and you have to buy separately. Hope this helps.
