In my opinion not 2.0 not even close!
These seem to actually be the advertised capacity showing up at 28.8GB, but they do not perform at USB 2.0 speed. Not even USB 1.0 speed. The first one I used to transfer some photos took almost 35 minutes to load 345 images totaling 80.6 MB. Thinking it was a bad unit I tried the next one with very consistent results. I formatted all 5 units and proceeded to do some comparison testing. Across 3 computers and using 2.0 and 3.0 ports. I got varying times of up to 54 minutes for the same file mentioned above. I tried each unit with word documents as well that measured less than 100Kb and those went in a flash no pun intended. Music, photos, any file over 5MB just jams these units up, and they bog down. I tried the same testing with an old USB 2.0 / 32gb SanDisk Cruzer Glide that I had and it smashed right through the file averaging 25 to 30 seconds on the photo file on repeated tries. So not a bottleneck on the 3 computers. Checking for software updates showed none available. Running a check on the PNY units for errors shown none. They are just slow as frozen molasses running uphill at Christmas time. I guess if you are just storing small files then they will work. If you plan on taking advantage of the 32 GB capacity in my opinion I would not order them if you are over 65. You will most likely expire from old age before the file transfer is done.

Re-review: Amazon cost this seller a better rating
First let me say that my wife & I share this account even though it's under her name. This review is mine, however, and not hers.Bought these to keep project files, pictures, etc., grouped together. They work great. I have used PNY thumb drives in the past and have found them easy to use and very durable. Hopefully these will continue that streak of success.Update as of end of Sep, 2020. Unfortunately my good streak ended, as I was afraid it might with using higher-density USB drives. A few days ago I just got around to using the last of the five drives from the pack, and wouldn't you know it, it turned up bad. That was why I backed my rating down to 4 stars. I believe that PNY is still a good company with good USB drive products, but...Then I tried getting in touch with the seller. No info on Amazon to do so, and I found in the process that for Prime buys that are fulfilled by Amazon the buyer is supposed to work through Amazon. Guess what...a great big website that I spent an hour searching through and absolutely nowhere is there contact info for Amazon. We're paying for a Prime membership, and it doesn't even get us an email contact for anyone, not even a janitor, at Amazon, let alone - *gasp* for shock & horror - a customer service phone number!According to their policies, the return window for the item is closed. The exchange may still be available, but you have to exchange THE WHOLE PRODUCT. The first four drives are in use and filled with data - I can't return them! I only want to swap the single failed drive for one that works, but that's not an option. The lousy policy structure and especially the fact that you can't reach out to anyone at the company to discuss the situation cost the rest of the stars, well the rest that they would allow me to take away. Their rating system is biased because you can't give zero stars, which is what this transaction rates for me. That one lousy star I couldn't delete was fraudulently extorted from be by the biased rating system of a non-customer-service focused behemoth of a corporation.

Garbage drives with impossible to remove covers
Impossible to remove the covers without using a tool and damaging the drive, very slow write speeds, USB errors writing to two of five of the drives received.I got sick if always searching for a thumb drive to hand someone files or do quick copies, so I found this cheap five-pack in order to have a few on hand that I don't care about giving away.First, the most ridiculous part, the covers! These little covers are *impossible* to remove by hand. What seems to jam them up is the little tab on each side of the drive. The tab is supposed to slide in a matching groove (for alignment I guess?) but instead jams it up. By the 3rd drive, I'd gotten it to a 30 second process to remove wherein I pried each side with a small flathead screwdriver until the clear plastic stretched away from the drive. As a result, each and every drive looks like it was chewed up by a small dog.As for speed, these are quite slow for USB 2.0 drives. Actual copy speeds were below 30MB/min - extremely painful to wait for when copying multi-gigabyte files. Finally, over the 6 months I used these, I had no less than two drives fully go bad - writes to these drives lead to USB errors (on multiple systems).Garbage. Save yourself the trouble and buy another

NOTHING?
Received two Flash Drives, one worked perfectly and the other did not work at all. Try different USB ports, NOTHING. Why would one work and the other not work? No more PNY products for me. Purchased these drives to use in the car. Added mp3 music, put 3 folders together with 25 songs each. Seemed to take forever just to load a few songs. VERY SLOW, my other SanDisk drive has 84 music folders, would hate to wait for those transfers on this disk. 2nd disk has also failed, my computer states it can not read this flash drive. DEFECTIVE, DO NOT BUY!

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertized and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon, and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Seller's have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Great Value. Work fine.
Contrary to some other reviewers experiences I have bought many of these, 6 of the 64GB usb 2.0 and had great experience, fast seller delivery too.I regard these PNY usb 2.0 drives as excellent value. I mainly use these to store film mp4s for use on my LG smart TV.I have always found files copy fine from my HP Windows 10 pc to any of these sticks.Yes you have to wait a while if you are copying over 50 odd GB of high definition files from the PC.. butthat doesn't matter to me. I am not in a big hurry. These don't need to be usb 3.0 for my needs. Most of the files are large. I am copying files between 1 and 4 GB each.Usb 2 is fine for my needs and you are not over paying for the amount of storage in my view. In particular the 64Gb usbs seem great value for money.I like the capless feature of these PNY sticks too. No cap to lose etc.Totally recommended even if the slower usb 2.0...... presumably these are older stock being moved ahead of faster usb 3.0 / higher capacity drives taking over... That's progress. I have long learnt the £ benefits and value from buying outgoing stock and technology that is yesterday's model....

If they work, they are SLOW to write to. Better to spend a little more.
Bought a multipack of 5, 1 was DOA out of the box. The write speeds seem way below usual USB2. Read speeds are fine from what I can tell.I am filling them once and giving away, so read is more important than write. If you are looking for a daily use or one that you will write to often, move along. Spend a little more and get something that won't make you wait 4-5 hours to fill 32GB.If they weren't so cheap I would initiate a return, but it doesn't appear I can just return the one defective stick. Not worth my time. Live and learn.

Would not work after 3 uses!
What looked like a good deal from what I thought was a good brand, the USB flash drive was a dud after using it for only 3 backups! This is so ridiculous. Best to stick with the brand you have used before and trust. I would not recommend this product.

No bootean
Por increíble que parezca no se pueden hacer discos de arranque Windows o Linux con estás memorias, solo pueden almacenar, yo creo que por ese defecto están tan baratas
